UO is the best MMO ever created...even to this day. It's not quite the same as it was back in the day though, it's not the same experience as it was when it was "new"
Dude, such a fun episode, I thoroughly enjoyed this. I loved the part where you grew a conscience and started helping out the blues instead of looting them. And the reasoning is correct too; you want the blues farming as much as possible. So res them, alert them of reds, heal them, thats the role I play too! *high fives for the good guys*
Used to play there religously. Problly had like 4-5k hours on there. Id ping-ping from other shards just to switch it up. Gave it a break for almost 2 years now. Nusero used to be my favorite place to go. Just way to many people for me anymore. I like less population big time. We all used to farm mobs than not loot anything unless it was like cores or rares. Stuff like that. Glad to see its still going strong tho at least. Leather is most def a money maker if you dont do prev coins like the rest of the people who join. Cause its hard to get your codex's and all that just starting.
@@LostCrumpetUO I seen that from pwn, wildlands. I was wondering about the housing market or if they were gonna do a raffle. But wouldn't be fair to do so. I got 3 houses now and i ain't active. So selling one, to get another placement over a active player just isn't right in my eyes. But enjoy!
Make a red hand picker thief. That will be right up your alley. Thieving is super fun and picking is good loot and good to raise aspect. Easy to jump on and play for days or just 10 minutes.
These vids are awesome. You should try this with running X3 lumberjacks at a time with a script. You just have to click to move each character and the templates are free to make. You would make even more then this I think
I know you will likely be moving onto a fully different build in your next video you might consider however adjusting this build to include detect hidden and lock pick.... adding the ability to open and loot dungeons chests is great on a leather scavenger
Yeah, I think this is a good idea. My next video is actually inspired by this one again, it wont be another '12 Hours' (but we'll come back to it). I do want to squeeze Detect Hidden and Lock Pick in, just need to figure out how... (just hit 120 Forensic Eval :D)
Love your style! Your video inspired me to recreate that scavenging playstile and I must say I'm quite addicted to roam the dungeons and find all the goodies the others deemed unworthy. The only thing that really surprises me is the amount of colored leather you got, do you know if drop rates were nerfed? After roughly 12 hours (180k+ uncolored leather) I've got roughly half of your numbers in the colored section.
For the longest time I used a normal skinning knife, now I'm using a bronze skinning knife. Is the difference really that big? I personally can't see a big difference.
Of course! 100 Forensic Eval 100 Camping 100 Tracking 100 Hiding 100 Stealth 80 Magery 70 Meditation 70 Healing I actually just raised Forensic Eval to 120, but that was after the video
@@BigPapiMNDZ yeah, the problem is camping gives you the carryweight. I can get 15k+ leather in my pack thanks to Camping. I do want to try and get lockpicking and detect hidden in, just unsure how
Of course, I didn't show it long enough, so here you go: 100 Forensic Eval (Raised to 120 in my next video) 100 Hiding 100 Stealth 100 Camping 100 Tracking (may drop) 80 Magery 50 Meditation 70 Healing The whole idea of this build is ZERO COST (bar a skinning knife!).
@@blinddg5064 Yeah, Healing, Cures, Invisibility & Travel (Although camping lets you travel). I plan to turn this character in a leather gatherer/lock picker at some point.
Only one major downside to scavenging. No xp for aspect or mastery chain. However I see its benefits. If your low on gold and not getting enough gold to buy cores. Or leather for tailoring society’s. It’s a great way to explore the dungeons. I’ve personally never played a scav build. But have been considering it since I switched out forensic for tracking sometime ago now. Leather is getting low.
Hello! So you can actually get aspect experience, I didn't in this video, but im now raising Harvest (although this wasn't possible when i started!). But yes, all your other points are true -- great to explore and to either sell, OR, make a tailor (which im doing now)
Oh, that would have been clever to show in the video lmao. 100 Forensic Eval 100 Hiding 100 Stealth 100 Camping 100 Tracking (may drop) 80 Magery 50 Meditation 50 Healing 20 Anatomy Healing and Anatomy is low, but I heal for about 30 pts per bandage, which is pretty nice!
As a quick update, dropping Anatomy to 0 and Healing to 70 is MUCH better for this build. I misunderstood how Anatomy worked. Also just hit 120 Forensic Eval, big gains!

Best UO content creator atm.
Thanks fella! Really appreciate the kind words.
The trade secrets have been leaked!! Awesome video man!
DELETE THE VIDEO. NO ONE CAN KNOW. Thanks Legenis, thanks for letting me tag along in your stream the other day taking your leather :D
love it buddy! !!! super awesome !
Thanks Pwn!
Remember to bring your skinner to boss runs, since bosses always drop colored leather. It's a good chance to get hundreds of rare leather at a time
The quality of these is insane
Thanks Joel! Appreciate it!
Never played more than like an hour of UO but you make it look like a lot of fun, might have to check it out sometime. Good luck with the channel
Thanks Free Pie! I think like any MMO, if it hooks you in.... you'll be here for a long time :D

Thanks fella! Appreciate you watching again :)
Great video, fun to watch. Cool idea.
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is how you tell your story! Hell yeah! Great video! Keep it coming!
Thanks! And I will :D
I just got addicted to outland in 2023 too after the D4 disappointment
Yeah D4 didn't grab me personally, I know lots who enjoyed it, but... didn't do it for me.
Common man I love your videos, please have more coming
Haha, thank you! New one this weekend!!
Wow this channel is so under-rated you have a real talent at this
Thanks! I've got a long way to go, but I appreciate the kind words 💛

Haha, thanks Thauron! Maybe save that high five until I've done '12 Hours a Thief'. No ETA on this one yet, prob later in the year... but... yeah :P
@CrumpetXD oh sure, I had my thieving days too. Noone is all good or all evil! I just root for good as much as possible 😀
But yeah I love thieving content too, I am a huge evil fireblade fan. Can't wait for your next video they are awesome!
Hey buddy! Appreciate the video. I just found this channel. Hidden gem!
Thanks Nettle! Appreciate you watching the Video!
Once again..great Outlands content :)
Thanks again! Appreciate you taking the time to watch :)
Love this concept for a series! Well done!
I started with a scavenger too and it was perfect! That lead directly into tailors for society jobs and easy money selling reforge tools!
Thanks Capp!
Yeah I sold my leather, but henceforth i'll be keepig it for society jobs! :)
The way you export your adventure to us pixel crackheads is second to none. Please keep the content coming! 😊
Thanks Dylan! Appreciate the kind words! More videos soontm (these take a while :D)

Killing it Crumpet, keep em coming.

Great video 👍👍
Thanks 0wl!
Awh yes! Genius.
Thanks
I started Scavenger to stock up regs and a gold stash... then went void mage summoner with forensic eval pretty good g.
Yeah, I didn't mention it in the video BUT, the amount of regs you get is insane.

Goddamn you. Now I might have to play again after a 15 year break.

speed to 1.75x and awesome video =))
Hah, my accent at 1.75x speed, you're braver than most!
Great vid but u should try SSC its by far the best place for scavenging leather
Oooo, I've been to SSC a few times on my bard. It's DEATH haha, but i'll try it for Leather, I've not done that yet. Thanks for the tip!
"If" you can sell it... Isnt that easy because there is so much leather on the Market.
Anyway, good Video :>
I got quite lucky and managed to sell most of it (no one buys my dullhide :( ). But yeah, it takes a while for sure!
