Man i loved this game back in the day. I was one of the original players and played for years. Still haven’t played anther mmo that gave me as much fun friends and memories as this game

@@LostCrumpet exactly..i started working so had little time to play and eventually left it behind. All these years later i still think about it lol. I remember when British got murdered i was working and a friend called me to tell me😂
I dunno, Eve online was a better fit for me. I could also play two chars at the same time.

@@LostCrumpet haha yea, most LJ's dont have any defense so some pks will target them for an easy kill. I mainly stick to dungeons :D , keep up the great content!

Check out a video or look up Ultima 7 its from like 1992. But it has alot of the UO we play items in it. Still legendary to me. Good video tho man!

I've actualy NEVER played another Ultima game! I did read his book "Dungeons and Dreamers" (well, sort of his book), which was excellent.
@@LostCrumpet Its a alright place so far. I played it before than left. Certain people seem like they can get away with whatever on there. Thats the only thing i don't like. Than the guy that runs it i've given him abit of insight on things that could be fixed/improved.
He seems to only listen to a few people tho. Like i made a recommendation about moon gates deep down in dungeons. There is only very few. At least on OL's there is a exit. When your deep down in a dungeon.
Ill have to check out this book, or at least see a review on it. Been abit since i got to read a book.

What is a character echo?
You can buy one on a character, and it lets you unlock another 'template' on that character.
So lets say I have a 7xGM Bard, and i really like that character, but i want to make a tamer, instead of making a new character, i can spend gold to unlock an echo and "store" my bard, allowing me to start training a tamer on my character. Then every 12 hours you can swap Echos and go Bard > Tamer > Bard.
I hope that makes sense, ive not had coffee yet 😅

I would love to chill in UO again as a miner/smith but I feel I have to relearn everything and that's daunting.

Didn't realize there was a Harvest Aspect until you mentioned it... 100k per core.. Yeh ill give it a miss :( Awesome shard I love it but for new players its tough.

Worth it even if you're just leaving it at tier 0, especially if you're not at 120 yet. The effective harvest skill bonus you get, even at low levels, is too good.
I want to jump with joy for how much I enjoyed this video but instead I think I'll continue to be a sleepy lumberjack. I'm right about skill 103 in lumberjacking and it has taken me forever. As of this comment, a 5,000 board commodity goes for 80,000 gold, so it's well worth the time spent if you ask me. Oh, and Harvest Aspect? Don't even ask. If you pursue this you will be broke forever, so fair warning! This is my vote for more lumberjacking videos! Take care!

so you gather wood, how do you sell it or turn it into profit? I´m new to the game
Once you gather logs, you can double click an Axe in your hand, then click on the logs, and it'll turn it into planks. You then sell those to players -- they sell quick! Look up Commodities on the Outlands Wiki, and the Sell Channel in the Outlands Discord for pricing.

but... dont activate harvest on your hatchet! you're throwing away essence when you get full benefit and exp from activating just the armor. a special quirk of harvest aspect!

During this I was at tier 2 -- I've just been levelling it from drops, not buying it. I've just hit tier three though!

Please for the love of all that is holy, Lumberjacking is NOT a word! You could say woodcutting, felling, cutting or a multitude of other more reasonable and extant choices. "hey what have you been up to?" "Oh just jacking this lumber" See how ridiculous that sounds? >

Hey! So I have a new video coming out *next week* on Mining, and I can say categorically I made more mining :D.
Mining is not as fun imo, as it's just standing at a rock for hours -- but if you need money, and are happy with a chill experience, 5k ingots will get you about 140k ish at the moment. Lumberjacking is also profitable .
TL'DR Gathering is always worth it, it just depends if you enjoy it, or if you'd rather pvm/pvp :D

I felt like i wasted so much time and hours but...i had fun. Feeling old is a bitch!

On a sidenote, you dont need harvest on your weapon, its the only aspect where it doesnt matter since they just break plus you can deactive the xp display if you dont plant o level it anyway :)
