SO glad y'all're watching this. The last five years have been insane for anime/manga but I truly believe that Chainsaw Man is maybe the best written manga of the decade, and MAPPA absolutely delivered 110% when adapting it for S1.
I think this reaction is perfectly timed - considering you've now seen Full metal alchemist and Jujutsu Kaisen, it really showed in your breakdown. You two are always really on the ball with media literacy anyway, but having the other shows as reference points is going to be a big advantage here.
