I have a pair of nightstands, I have started twice. Not liking either way I did it, this has given me a new perspective on how to do them. Thanks, I can start tomorrow.
I love how nice those touch ups turned out on the drawers. Perfect color match! And a beautiful color combo. A good re-do of old work is always fun. You get to realize how much you've learned over the years AND refresh a piece. Winning! 😆 love this Amy, well done! 😍
Beautiful colors ....I have never used fusion paint and I have always wanted to ...also that brush...Maybe I gotta stop procrastinating haha....thank you my friend. . beautiful table🥰
I noticed your boo boo before you even started painting. Thankfully you were able to correct it. Your little stand looks great, I love that color with your stained areas.
Thanks for the video! I have used Fusion for many projects, and I do love it. BUT, it has some issues. All paints do. You mentioned blendability. It's not so great for that. OR, it could just be that I'm not experienced enough. learned blending from one of your videos. And, the project I did turned out nice, but I think a different paint may have blended better. Also, I wish they'd just put their paint in a can. Those little jars seem to wonderful at first, but the lid gets stuck on there, and paint builds up around the edges. I try to keep them wiped down, but still pieces of gummed up paint fall into the jar. No bueno on that. Also, I've bought multiple jars of a color and found that the color is slightly different from one jar to the other! Not sure why... Aside from all that, it really is overall a great paint. I painted various pieces of furniture to create a bedroom set, and it's very durable - even for a bed. Hope this is helpful. I enjoy your videos.
So when you are using Fusion on wood, you should always use a primer? Your piece is beautiful, I am doing a combo paint and stain piece soon and just doing the research now.
I used FMP twice both using HVLP , zibra brush and roller and it left a texture, sorta like the beyond paint. I cleaned the piece well, sanded , primed , sanded between coats . Do you have the same experience with FMP?
I used tough coat over Pebble mineral paint on my dining table and chairs in 2021. It has left a slightly yellow hue and the caption chair has chipped unfortunately.

Lovely transformation! I like the contrast of the paint vs. the stained wood.

I’m realizing from this video that I need to invest in quality brushes. 😮😊
If u r having a hard time with the top of this paint jar getting gummy or hard to unscrew, rub some Vaseline in the screw ridges.

I hope you have better luck with Fusion paint then I did. I wonder if paints vary from color to color?

I would prefer it just fully painted. It seems dark and unfinished..
