As an interior designer I like the look of the dresser. The combination of vintage and modern hardware just makes it interesting! People are quick with criticism and slow to praise.👍
I love the "keeping me humble bit." You responded to that so well. Very proud of you for that, as well as your workmanship and family involvement. Keep going strong.
Looks very nice and modern. I like it just the way it is. You are very nice and fun to watch. You are doing a great job, don’t let people discourage you!👍🥰
I think it looks great but yes a little off but I think it is the knobs and pulls are not compatible! Try matching the pulls with different knobs ( would be my choice) or different pulls to match the knobs you bought.. ( my 2nd choice) the paint job is quite popular and the knobs changed is a simple change that could make all the difference.
A lot of hard work...beautiful job. As an artist and floral designer, I would use a mirror or take a picture of what I was working on and I would see the problem right away. It's the drawer pulls. BUT, beautiful job.
It’s the knobs. Round ones are to modern, and the draw pulls are to vintage. Not sure if it’s one or the other or neither! The finish turn out very nice.
Beautiful transformation of this dresser, but I agree something does look off. I think it's the lower hardware. It kinda makes it look country or dated. Maybe replacing those 6 hand pulls with something more modern would help.
The modern knobs on the three top drawers don’t coordinate with the more classic style pulls on the lower drawers. The styles are from two completely different eras. Other than the hardware, the dresser looks great!
I love the dresser but imo I would have all the drawers the same color the top three are throwing me off. Pulse the new knobs need to be more vintage looking to me. But overall it’s beautiful.
My first thought was that the top drawers should be stained and the bottom should be painted...looks a bit top heavy. A neutral wash on the wood drawers would make them blend tonally with the black a bit better. Maybe the orangey wood against the black is part of the problem. Personally, I like your choice of knobs and paint color.

I think the black and wood combo is so pretty.
I did a combo like this 50 years ago on a piece.
My daughter has it I her home now and loves it!
I love what you've done with this piece. Beautiful work.

If u spray the inside n drawers with shellac it will preven the smell of smoke from coming out works better than eventual oils n last longer.
Love it. When your little helper is a teen then he can be a huge help lifting. Mine is my body guard when i do buying and selling 😊
No way …it looks fantastic! Don’t change it
Beautiful! Job well done Jess, Love your rug also!!
Thank you! I love the rug too but unfortunately it doesn’t match anything in my home so I only use it for staging my furniture. ☺️
Looks good to me, very pleasing and modern.
Absolutely gorgeous. 😊😊😊😊😊

I like it 2 tone is good seller from alot of videos. That guy was just rude.
Beautiful!
Looks great!
Well done. Looks “rich.”

Maybe take the half rounds off the bottom drawer fronts.
Beautiful dresser. Great job! Just don’t think the hardware goes together
Maybe stain the drawers to get rid of the orange color?
How did the drawer liner do with adhering after using the feed n wax?
I only put the drawer liner on the top drawers as they had lots of stains but the bottom drawers were clean enough to leave as they were.

The qwik wood takes to long to harden for myself.
I found that I just had to mix it a lot to get it to harden correctly.

how many jars of the fusion paint did you need?
I only used about a quarter of the jar for this dresser.
Don't sell yourself short. It looks great in the video.
If your knobs were more delicate like the original handles you kept. It would help

I guess you could quibble about the hardware, but I think it’s very masculine and any man would love to have it in his room.
In my opinion the top knobs look a bit too modern for the dresser. Other than that, it looks really nice.
Yeah, I felt like the top knobs didn’t look right.
I’ve never been able to get Kwikwood to work.
The first time I tried it I couldn’t get it to work but then I figured out that I wasn’t mixing it well enough to set up and harden.
I would either do it all one color or white wash the wood on the drawers.
I’m first!
Beautiful!!
