After all these years, I finally realized that Lugia/Blastoise/Steelix shares its initials with “pounds.”
Time to catch a Squirtle and name it Shilling.

Jimmy Ballard was actually interviewed on Lake of Rage/Mellow Magikarp and gave a through history and breakdown of the Eeveelutions deck (ironically he describes it as a tier 3 rogue deck and credits his success to the surprise factor and to a year of intense practice and deck tuning). Meanwhile, Jay Hornung took the concept and ran with it by cutting Pidgeot for Porygon2 and refocusing the Eeveelutions on Jolteon ex to create a rogue deck he highlights on his channel, The Lost Zone. If any of you are interested in learning about the Eeveelutions archetype or the 2006 Worlds format, I suggest watching both videos.

10:38 Is that Water Energy creased? I’ve been so busy bugging you about buying sleeves for your World Championship decks that I never asked what condition those decks were in.
The Water Energy should be only a couple of dollars to replace at most (realistically it would be about $0.25 to $0.50 with a full $0.99 shipping). Hopefully nothing more valuable is worn down from ~~abuse~~ much love.
