( I use a program called voice attack an it is VERY ACCURATE ) I was inspired to do that when i learned that helldivers 2 is also inspired by EDF a Japanese game that included a mechanic similar to stratagems that had voice commands by default!
There is a glitch though, if you get ragdolled while holding the quick throw button, you will be in the default throwable mode when you get back up. Just unequip grenade to resolve
I have most of my HUD, including player markers, disabled, until I press the Map key. This has forced me to become very aware of my teammates locations and pay attention to their character models, especially to avoid teamkills with airstrikes.
Also change sprint to toggle. Being able to walk or run in a direction has saved me many times. Instead of being stuck standing. Though the input time is slower that default.
On the controller, I recommend activating the quick grenade on the grenade button. You don't have to be able to hold the grenade uncooked in your hand, cooking it while holding the button is still an option
You do not need to turn off all HUD elements to turn off HUD for screenshots for instance. Just assign a key in the controls list for turning off HUD with the press of a button

There's another really cool feature that some Divers on PS5 might be unaware of and that's the cursor movement on the mini map. I had been using the D-pad when moving the cursor but unbeknownst to me you can do this by placing your thumb and lightly moving it around on the touchpad (BIG central block in the middle of the controller) give it a try, it was a game changer for me!
The biggest thing that helped my comfort in this game on PS5 was to change the controller key layouts. I hold R1 to bring up the Strategem menu so I can still run with my left joystick while calling in a Strategem. I also made the L1 button for throwing a quick Grenade and got rid of the other button command that would make a longer grenade throw I think.
Hi @alexello1189, here's how I would call in a Strategem or Reinforcement without stopping my movement. Right index finger holds R1 to bring up Strategem menu, right thumb takes over left Joystick to control which direction I want to keep running in, which then let's my left thumb press the inputs on the directional pad, then I'll use right index finger to press R2 to throw Strategem ball. The only gripe I have is that sometimes the game stims me when I press Up on the directional pad instead of calling in a Strategem but I understand that's pretty common.

Luckily, since it's a trinity, if the 12 button one doesn't work, then there's still the other one which has 5, or... rather 7 since I found the other two sideplates again and looked at it. Whoops, it's apparently 2, 7, and 12... Ah well. And, fair enough on the bindings you have. If you have a good keyboard and by that I mean something that has more keys than full keyboard, use your macros to bind them to pressing those annoying arrows. I have a weird program with marking the map. Used to be tapping Q and holding it made the strat bar come up. However I changed it to be vice versa but couldn't mark enemies. So decided to change it's binding but haven't found a button yet... Any suggestions?
@@zack16saturday tab or caps lock should feel natural, just note that caps lock will change your chat to all caps if you want to type something
Nah with how aggressive I play, I need that secondary on deck. Got my blicky on standby
So HD classic is a no go o7
I had a friend that thought there was a bug where if you had Japanese audio, it would lessen the join rate for matches.
This doesn't make sence as I play on an American account, on the North America Server and I play regularly
@@Vickolai the matchmaking should only be affected by cross play enabled/disabled. I’m on NA and play with whatever language
What I prefer over cinematic is immersion and a shaky camera is just not immersive for me
Thank you
German is better than japanese
German is my second favorite language to play with personally o7
Have u tried the power of the fatherland when using the Deutsch voices?
@@thz6853 I have lol I’m a sucker for oriental languages though
I miss the chat only option for text to speech.
is it me or does he sound like levelcapgaming?!?
@@Sutsurubaku that’s the first I’ve heard lol, I like levelcap
what exactly "reticle outline" do to the reticle ? i don't see any changes what so ever
@@echo_logia5607 there’s a circle that indicates where your bullet is going to go before it catches up to your reticle dot.
Should be in accessibility is what you’re asking about.
@@dadpoolgames1748 yes but with or without this option 🤔
@@echo_logia5607 I find it helpful, I have it set to on. It’ll give you a better understanding of where your shots will hit.
Italian is so much better for dialogues than japanese
any mouse with 2 extra buttons under thumb is enougt to free W and S
I just want to be able to turn off the hit markers, but that isn’t an option
I’d have to check to confirm, not near my pc at the moment but I believe you can turn off your crosshair
@@dadpoolgames1748 yeah but you can’t turn off the hit markers. When you ready should because the game gives visual feedback through hitting armour that tell you the same information
Can you please tell me why my circle aim keeps flickering? Which seems like aim assist for controllers, but I play on PC and have no controller plugged in and aim assist on 0,0.
@@DaxterSnickers idk about flickering but the circle reticle that moves tells you where your shots will be going.
@@dadpoolgames1748 Yes, I know. But it snaps onto enemies or friends with the stim pistol. In my 800h I haven't been able to fix it. At least I can now finish Haz9 missions with less than 100 kills.
im a fucking freak on ps5, where i input my strategems while moving by putting my palm on right stick while using my right thumb to input strategem inputs. im unfortunately rather used to weird controller positions having barely ever touched a pc game
@@starwarsfan7726 I feel like trying to do that on an Xbox controller wouldn’t work out as well with the sticks not being level like on PS5 lol
pls finde the feature wher u can fuking move the big fat text box whenever a misssion is complet. i basicly blockt halve of the screen ur actualy useing ans specialy now wit the flak-auto-cannon its anyoing when u try to shoot under ur enemys and cant see how manny targets ar left becaus someone just closed a bughole..

"So set this to yes" don't tell players how to play. Suggest it, sure, but dont word it like that. Aight? :/
