Its difficult to let go of things you have time invested in, but just like children we have to cut the strings at some time. Have too many bikes right now, but still have a fella wanting to sell me his 85' Honda V65 Sabre for a steal. I'll go look even if I don't spend the ready cash. Foolish biker-boy that I am. In my neck of the woods, YZs are hard to sell, They are such good bikes, they are here in mass! So many for sale all the time. Thx for all the YZ content, can't wait to see what's next!
I think you did good on the deal. You made great videos and gained a lot of priceless knowledge while having fun. That's a win in my book. And now, it will be easier to sell others without feeling too bad.
Great job man! I'm going through the same process now. I managed to find a roller for $500 as well. And I got a yz426 engine I'm going to swap onto the yz450 frame. Should be a pretty good fit. But I'll need to make custom brackets.
Did you include shipping cost ? This is the main issue right now, getting all the parts some different places you ended up with double the parts price on just shipping…

My YZ426 is old tech by today’s, standards, but I sure do miss it and all it’s little quirks! Dam fine motor!

Yo flipping is fun af I went from a 1986 yz125 for 500 to a 2018 yz250f for 4400 I went threw like 6 bikes in 1 year flipping them
