I enjoyed trying this on at my AD and the different, easily swapped straps is a win. I tried it on bracelet and the rubber. I'm not quite sure I feel it's worth the price (not an uncommon feeling for the brand), but it's a solid release from Zenith.
It's wild how dive watches have such a large chunk of the market. It always reminds me how much of a psychological purchase a watch is. We buy watches for our aspirational self. The person we want to be.
Yeah you'd think putting the "Extreme" label on this one leaves open the possibility of just a standard Defy Diver in the near future, which I'd also be totally onboard with.
I love Zenith, I love dive watches, I love original modern designs. I’m sorry to say though that this is a bit overdone for me, there just feels to be two or three too many elements for it to be a successful design to my taste.
Hello guys, Men.......Zenith is just so darn under rated, hit after hit, innovation after innovation. Both of the dive watch releases are very desirable. This contemporary take is just amazing.
If it were the “Defy Skin Diver” and was 12-13mm thick, I would buy it immediately. 15.5mm thick is just unenjoyable to wear for me. That one dimension means I’m out as a buyer. The revival is too small of a diameter or else I’d buy that. Really missed on the dimensions with their new dive watches imo.
Awesome looking piece! Love the use of color and the way the bezel sits! The price seems steep until you consider what you get for around the same money… I’m still stuck mentally in early 2000-prices, so it’s harrowinly expensive for me! 😂
Zenith makes only 15k watches per year, they desperately want to be like Rolex so they have way overpriced watches which even collectors don’t buy. Zenith is also cringe cuz everyone is copying Seiko 6139 caliber while El primero is just too complicated to service and too fat.
Although I prefer more elegant designs with integrated bracelet watches (i.e., the Laureato), I find the color and design here really pleasing. Perhaps a tad too tall but still not bad.
Just bought this piece, absolutely love it. Thanks for a good overview.
Be sure to send us wrist shot!
Zenith have nailed this. Fantastic looking watch.

not my style but love the coverage
Thanks!

@@brockadcock2735 lol i do love divers i just cant get myself to break away from black and white ones with a spark of red 🤣
My blue arrives next week. A long weekend ware 😅
Would these endlinks work on a defy skyline? Would be awesome to be able to use a strap or non proprietary straps for defy skyline or skyline chrono.
I would definitely buy if it was proportional to a 200m water resistance. Just really like the look of it and glad Zenith is doing their own thing.

Interesting take, thanks for watching!
The dust accumulation in the gaps around the bezel is jarring.
Looks good, Zenith is taking chances.
Why is the seconds sweep so jerky? Certainly not expected for a 5 Hz El Premiro.

Zenith always do it right wow
Nice job fellas! I'll be interested to see if they put out additional color combinations.
Thanks!
very cool watch. Mondaine Wall Clock is still broken

Why waste your time making a dive watch rated to 800 meters. 300 meters is just fine. Just silly.
It's just too thick and too big unfortunately
Exactly! Too big and the retro diver, although esthetically appealing, has a mediocre movement
A symbolic number for ZENITH, as 600 meters is equal to 1'969 feet - the year the DEFY wristwatch line including the A3648 was launched.
To much feels over done. Like trying to be different for the sake of being different.
The guy on the right looks to be going through an exam.
the thickness are way too much lol
but the watch definitely win the look
Colors are stellar!
