Everything looked yummy! I don’t go strawberry picking but it’s on my list of things to do! I just buy them at the store and try to eat them up before they go bad! Hubby did a great job on the cake!
I would say for your jam the number one thing you did was use the bread machine. It doesn't bring the strawberries to the boil that you need. And you may have needed a little bit more pectin and then also putting them in a hot water bath after canning them thickens that as well. As you know I make strawberry blueberry Peach Jam every year so we should do it together one day you can use store-bought strawberries as well. But using the bread machine I think was honestly the biggest issue because it does not get to the correct temperature or the correct boil for the pectin to really do its job as far as a thickener. Miss and love you guys we need to get together ASAP❤❤
