Lovely bit of troubleshooting there. Nice to see TopDon helping you out 😎🔧
still going strong!💪
Good diag. I bet that took a while!!!
Thanks , haha yeah took bit of head scratching!😂
Weldone mate.
Thanks
After numerous times I had a no start on a fiat 500..going through fuses, relays, ignition switch, replacing the multi 500 filter, finally the starter..no start..no codes..so as I reluctantly decided to remove the new starter, I discovered the problem I missed ☆ which was rust and corrosion on the ring contacts hidden under the main terminal to the starter which I had cleaned, but missed the ring contacts buried under the starter lead. ..so the old starter was probably still good..but left the new one in and now it starts very fast and strong!! This was a tricky problem lol
👍👍 yeah I bet you was relieved when you found it!
Can you please tell me how level is calculated for adblue? Thanks
Level sensor in the tank
@@diydaly Thank you. I took down the pump/electronic unit yesterday. I cleaned the filter and put à plastic sprocket to avoid the ring on the level gauge to stick in low position. Put everything back, did a refill and checked the odometer: the problem persists, still have the xxx km message as if I had a low level of Adblue. I guess it's a non-communication between ecu and adblue unit issue.
@@basilet8397 that message will come up for various faults mate , you must have some faults stored in the add blue ecu
@@diydaly Unfortunately, no fault stored in the ecu. I even went further and took real time information on the unit, temperature, pressure, ad blue quality... the measure that attired attention was the level that pointed 115 mm as the fuel tank is filled.
@@basilet8397 hmm seems an odd one! Hopefully you find something!
Pull test time
