Please do one on wooden palettes. I made my own out of thin plywood and conditioned it with linseed oil. Thank you for all your advice and tips! Much appreciated!
Love your vids. They provide great in-depth detail and tips for beginners like myself. You're a little more harsh and in your face than Bob, but, hey, not everyone can be Bob! LOL
Super helpful. I use to have a wood pallet but with all the build up I switched to a clear acrylic one, got an added backup since it was a two pack I bought
I've been using baby wipes for a long time with oil paints to help clean up! To those with sensitivities, try to avoid the pampers sensitive skin wipes as they are very rough and have castor oil in place of mineral oil, which also does not clean oil paints very well.
Oh those vicarious punches! Thank you. Sincerely--I've been wanting to do that lately. Had to switch to acrylic (gasp) from oil now that I'm indoors with basically no fume control, and I feel like I'm having a tougher time than when I started with oils. Please, please, pretty please with a cherry on top, could you do something for people like me facing an acrylic depression?
@@WildCreates yes. Okay, only kinda kidding with "yes". I picked up some mediums that help the paint act more like oils, but....I feel like I'm mainly water painting. The only things I'm comfortable with are blending and clouds. One of your tutorials must have stuck through the change.
@@WildCreates Didn't really answer your question, though. It feels like most of my paintings were done by a (very untalented) elementary school student. Perspective okay, colors okay, not sure what it is that makes them look like they took 5 minutes before the recess bell rings.
Awesome vid bro. Shame our brushes aren't as easy to clean like that. I saw that vid you did too. Was thinking if hanging my old pallet up as art lol. It's got lots of leftovers and marks over the years. Think anyone would buy? Lol
If you click on the video description I link to where you can buy paint tubes. They are open ended... So you just scoop the paint in, Seal it off, then squeze the paint out when you need it.
It might just be me.. but your bob Ross palette seems a little thicker than mine. Is there any difference between the one off amazon and the one from bob Ross inc.?
Not that I have noticed. The first one I bought was straight from the BR company and the 2nd was from Amazon. Seem the same to me! I did customize mine.... so maybe that's why it looks a little thicker!
Man I was thinking that would you like to do a LIVE class with Buck Paulson ( Bill Alexander's Student ) I'll share the link in the reply. So do you or anyone else just reply yes.

Wax paper is great ( I mention using it in one of my tip videos). The only down side is if you want to stand and paint with your palette. the wax paper can fold and flop over if you dont clamp it enough
@@WildCreates You are absolutely correct...you provide great tips...please continue...sub and thmps up...a small suggestion...can you please do a wave...simple and concise..I struggle with waves....much thanks.
Great info! Yes, the wooden palette clean up would be great! Thank you!
I will add it to the list for ya

Wild Creates thanks 😊
I just use a large plastic putty knife like a snow shovel. I can get it all off in a few swipes with no chemicals.
Simple Green is pretty amazing for getting in all those nooks & crannys the putty or palette knife misses 👌
I m still having a lot of problems with painting clouds
I will see what I can do in a future video for ya
Thank you
Omg i was just "STOP PUNCHING THE PAINTING" XD
Ha ha ha - Its the only way to get the mountains just right ha ha ha 😜

Glad to hear your are still painting.
