One of the most popular questions people ask me when they find out that I own a CBD business is, "how much did it cost to start?"
In today's video we jump into my laptop and I use a spread sheet to break down all of the costs associated with starting a new CBD oil business. When you're talking about math sometimes it can be easier to process everything when you can see the numbers.
Starting a CBD business is a lot like starting any other type of business. If you approach it as such, you have a much better chance of succeeding and growing your company.

You can always get a logo for easily under a $100 on fiverr. Ill probably start with a $20 logo just to get the ball rolling haha good info !

Thank you for this! I have something very personal fueling me to start my own company. when I was 17 back in 2014 I was meeting investors to get funding for a cbd company everyone turned me down. I could have been a very early mover and now seeing cbd everywhere on giant billboards kills me.

city of 2.6 million related to me he has 3 years burn rate liquidity to
cover his debts. of rent, insurance, employees, commerce costs, advertisement, employee
theft, and high margins to cover him until he see any profit. imo, CBD
can be and is very profitable to those that already have a good net
worth unlike many that are entering the retail market without cash to
pay for current losses.
It's definitely a competitive market that's for sure. Not sure you need money to burn but you need a small nest egg to get started just like with any business.

I'd sell another brand's CBD stuff at whole sale. Never start something like this from scratch if you've never ran an established business before.
That's what I was thinking of doing as well. Especially because I am so busy right now with education I wouldnt have time with the complications of designing a website, logo and packaging. I would start off selling someone elses brand but then eventually hav emy own brand, online store etc

What do you mean by packaging costing you $750? Did you buy 100 packages for $7,5? Explain that further.
Packaging is different for each business depending on what you're selling and how much you need.

Yes, it definitely is. cbdoilreview.org is a beast of an affiliate site. Only issue imo is that most of the companies that have started trustworthy affiliate programs all seem to sell mid tier products.
SEO is definitely tough. 2500 word, long tail keywords and your article could do well.

The hurdle is obviously the cost it demands that too if you already have a decent authority domain...
Hence, I was contemplating if I should go for it with a slow start?

a lot of places will label your product for you by professionals. It starts $150 and then included in packaging.

@@sherrifrench2523 When you bye CBD products; You can ask for white lalbes or private labels. White labels are just the products, and private labels include changes you make for your product. Ask them about labeling your product and they will work with you to create a label and when they send in the products, the CBD products will be in your own personal labels but it cost about $150 to create your personalied. The products labeled will be sent to you an included in the price. Just communicate with the manufacturers who you are buying from.
Question: It is very difficult starting out right now without being permitted to advertise on Facebook ads, Google, Instagram, PayPal, or being able to process credit cards, and some cities are seizing your CBD at your store. What do you suggest we do when that happens and your just starting out?

Yes, it is very difficult compared to mainstream retail. But imo, that's even more of a reason to jump in. The barriers of entry make it that much more difficult for your competitors. Also, succeeding in the current climate hardens your business. When everything loosens up (however long that is) you'll be that much more experienced than the next guy.

Very Very competitive market. Plan on getting investors and being very smart about budgeting. You can easily throw away $50,000-$100,000 in the first few years without seeing much revenue.
