    Whew! We are exhausted! It's move out week and we are super pumped to be moving into our new RV home. We want to know, what's the hardest thing you've ever had to purge?

      Books... So far... That's my struggle!!!

    • @NoOrdinaryPath

      Yes books were hard. We took a TON to Half Price Book Store and were bummed to get a whopping $25. Ugh. We did keep a small box of some we couldnt part with.

    Oh my gosh! Okay so the idea of fulltome camper living is coming into conversation in our home. Purging it is going to frighten me. It’s daunting to think about, but tourbhouse is HUGE.... so if y’all can go through your house and move to a camper... I can!!! Yes!!!

    We are at the beginning stages of starting to prepare for 5th wheel life. We downsized from 3000 foot home in Missouri to 1500 in Florida and now we need to start doing what you did. Any advice is appreciated.

    Great video documenting how you downsized. This is such a huge step and I don’t think there is enough out there on how to practically do it. So excited for you to hit the road!! I’m curious... did the Elsa dress make it in the RV? My daughter used some of her precious toy space in our camper for a dress up dress! 👗 😂

    • @NoOrdinaryPath
      @NoOrdinaryPath  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! It is a looooong process and lots of work. We have another video coming on Tuesday with all the ways we got rid of it. As for the Elsa dress - yep! She got to keep it. I told her to choose 1 and she chose Elsa and she doesn't know she's getting Moana soon. ;)

    I LOVE how you guys involve the kids in everything you do! Also how you let them know that the money would be used to have fun with later.

      We figured it would be easier to part with things if they could see that their "things" could turn into fun experiences. :)

    What about all your pictures?And where all did you sell your stuff?My family is about to down size everything before we move and need all the advice I can get.

    • @NoOrdinaryPath
      @NoOrdinaryPath  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      We digitized much of our pictures early on in the form of our family blog: The Farnsworth Chronicles. You can view it on our website if interested. www.noordinarypath.com
      If you have the actual photographs you can always pay to have them scanned into digital format. And from now on you can always start a TH-cam channel and save your memories that way😆🤩

    • @NoOrdinaryPath
      @NoOrdinaryPath  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also, we sold our stuff mainly on Facebook marketplace, Craigslist, and garage sales. We also donated quite a bit that served as tax write-offs.

    Good idea with the money. Its amazing how much stuff you accumulate over the years without realizing it. Qhen I moved I asked myself how I got all the stuff to fit. I dont buy anything else. I use what I have until it breaks then I replace it if its needed
