I'm still waiting on my VS Black Friday order, but I subscribed for the upcoming year, so I shouldn't have to deal with delays moving forward. As for my Severin releases (only Russ Meyer releases), I ordered them through another boutique this year and received them much faster. The Russ Meyer flicks look amazing compared to my DVDs.
Killing of America is a powerful, but kind of depressing documentary. It's sad that its still relevant now instead of being the time capsule for violence in America that it should be. The guy that made it is Paul Schrader's brother, the writer of Taxi Driver (among many other bleak films.) Severin killed it this year. I rarely ever pre-order stuff at full price from anyone but now have done it twice this year from Severin with 2020: Texas Gladiators earlier this year and Rats: Night of Terror in this sale. I'm a total sucker for Italian Pasta-pocalypse films. Those weird Mad Max & Escape from NY ripoffs that came out of Italy in the 80s were what got me into cult cinema and I'll always have a huge fondness for them.
