Another piece of trivia about Billy Barty his first movie was with Ted Healey and the Three Stooges soup to nuts 1930 . Billy Barty is an underrated comedian, little person actor.
I'd never heard if this film until I saw Chevy Chase live last month while he was touring with showings of Christmas Vacation. He was making fun if it and basically said he never should have considered being in it. Part of me is curious but most of me says to never watch this. Ha! Thanks for the overview so I never have to watch it.
This is actually one of my favorite movies from the 80s I’m a Chevy Chase fan But I also love Billy Barty . Did you know Chevy Chase and Billy Barty also work together in Chevy Chase first movie foul play . When it first came out on Warner archives I just had to have it.
I always thought it was pretty funny but I grew up in the dark ages with only 3 TV channels and as a kid had to spend a lot of rainy winter Saturday's watching old black and white movies from the 40's so I got a lot of the references and enjoyed the humor that wasn't tainted by woke censorship
1. Ive have never ever heard a single thing about this film lol 2. I was 3/4 of the way through writing you a scatthing letter before you corrected yourseelf ;-)
A very cool flick that showed how hard the little people partied during the filming of wizard of oz.
