The Nike's seem bulky and too casual for my taste, whereas the Stan Smith's seem much more subtle and classy to me. I knew the minute the Nike's ended up in S tier that the Adidas wouldn't make it there. Haha.

Nah, they actually do have some pairs with good leather. But it is much harder to find these days. I recently picked up the 'Home of classics' edition Stan smiths and they have really good leather. You need to avoid the primegreens and vegan leather versions though, they're quite bad.

A really popular one at the moment is the Salomon XT-6 white/lunar rock. Both Air Force 1's and Reebok Club C 1985 TV are on my current rotation. They're lovely. :)

I don’t know if it’s just in Denmark, but at least for my age group (which is around 18 years old) everyone is wearing adidas superstars right now, even more than Air Force 1’s.
Also worth noting that for the same price as a pair of Stans (or less), you can get a pair of white trainers that have better quality and durability. I had some Stans that I wore a few times a week that didn’t even last me a year. My Onitsuka Tiger GSMs, on the other hand, lasted me three years.

All i can say is that Adidas Stan Smith is the GOAT of white leather sneaker…This is the Gold Standard of white sneaker…it started it all and most of the white sneakers are designed after the stan smiths .. it goes well even if you dress up or dress down..unlike the other white sneakers that looks good only on certain outfits… look at McQueens chunky sneaker,doesnt it looks like the Stan Smith except for the chunky sole? :)
Better change Title to Ultimate Sneakers for Me only, Stan Smith i used daily specially on daily driving than Airforces One. Why my feet had pain alot while using AF1 than Stan. Yes AF1 had more cushion but still not comfortable than Stan, and 9yrs still strong
Rose Anvil's video is so played out at this point. Quality matters , yes. But the common projects shoe is the only reason videos like these exist. That shoe set the trend and therefore should be able to price their shoe however they want. Besides, companies that are for-profit should be allowed to make whatever margin they want on their products.

I love the Cortez but hate Nike (for quality reasons). I bought mine for 40 dollars, and at that price, they're good, but I wouldn't pay more than that. If I ever buy new ones, I would get them one size bigger because the shoes are pointed.

Rounded and clunky I said. The AF1 are more in proportion and have a slimmer upper. The chunky sole is what makes them more chunky. With the Stans it’s the other way around. The sole is slim and the upper is too rounded and bulky. Not a fan

Air Force 1s just don't do it for me at all. The sole is way too thick, the shape is super plain and it seems like almost everyone is wearing them. The Jordan 1 Lows are, in my opinion, a far surperior shoe.
My top 3 white sneakers would be 1. Adidas Forum Lows 2. Asics EX89 (white/blue or white/green) and 3. Reebok Club C 85 vintage. Also Adidas Rivalry Low in off-white/green colorway looks very cool.

Common Projects: Best if you do wear suits and want to break the formal aesthetics, and they're great for travel as wearing dress shoes are make you more prone to take off your shoes at the security checkpoint. 2. The older Ultra Boosts version 1 to 4. The newer one is too much, poorly build. I still have the V2 with the white continental outer sole, triple white. Love them. 3. Vans Classics/Era's in all white. For the occasions if the Common Projects is too much, and the Ultra Boost doesn't really fit the occasion but you do need white shoes, than it's Vans time. Vans is always nice to have. I've seen men in their 50 with a full rotating collection of Vans with a range of color's. 4. Nike Killshot 2. Nike's version of a skate shoe with gumsole and navy swoosh. Classic reproduced. Timeless and I currently keep them on ice. They do dress better and are more practical than the Vans 5. Yeezy 350 v2, although I never own the v2's in white but the OG's it was equally as useful as a white Yeezy. Honorable mention although currently not in my collection, a pair of Converse. To my eye, the 5 (6) shoes listed above are designed well and in many ways simplistic. When I first saw the Yeezy's it was immediately something I needed to have, it was beautiful, the same goes for the Ultra Boost and the Common Projects. I've been wearing Vans forever and you can wear them whether it's a hyped trend or not, All Stars is the same, Common Projects, is just perfect. The Killshot was actually a shoe from decades ago, yet still timeless. Compared to AF1, there was a time nobody wanted them. So it's much more prone to trend and hype. This is my opinion of the other shoes mentioned. The Reebok is something I was interested in, in 2017. Now you see them everywhere and don't want them anymore. The New Balance is just awful, I reckon some people are actually making an effort to look like ugly and unappealing. It's even worse if you are actually ugly and unappealing which must suck but you make it worse. Nike Cortez, just don't like them at all. Nike Gats.... what? Adidas Superstar, owned before, but the nose will get yellow over time. Never bought it again. Adidas Stan Smith, there is a certain archetype of blokes that wear these shoes, especially in the UK. Don't really want to be associated with them. Nike Blazer, there is something off with the design, other iterations with a smaller swoosh was better, I had those in black, useful if you had to wear black shoes for your job. Balenciaga, despite the whole child thing surrounding the brand which should be enough to stay far far away from the brand! I see poor people and people who don't have enough money wanting Balenciaga's, highly desire them, which make the brand... The quintessentially the brand for poor people. The design is just awful. Nothing more to say about that.

I owned the all white Stan Smith for 5 years and loved them. Until I tried the Club C 85, now I don’t wear the Smiths anymore. The Club C is just way more comfortable and interesting looking to me while still being super versatile.

Harry! Do we need more than one pair of white sneakers in our collection? I have started with NIKE COURT VISION PREMIUM. I like Converse Chuck Taylor 70 but i find them hard to style up.
If you find you are covered with the Nikes and don’t feel the need for any others then don’t bother. I like having a load of different sneakers. The converse go with everything in my opinion
I like stan smith but if i can afford i would buy common projects, they got really good color options like light grey, beige etc. i hate cortez. New balance look chunky but i love its retro style.
As mentioned the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 are a great shoe, I like the Nike Killshot 2’s and also the Adidas Gazelles. To me the Nike AF 1 are the most overhyped shoe of all time and just don’t look good. The Reebok Club C 85’s have always been one of my favorite shoes even when I was a kid in the 80’s I would rock them all the time, especially the white/ mint with gum soles.
AF1's are great but seeing only triple white pairs everywhere gets annoying tbh lol. You'd think that people would wanna pick a unique colorway to stand out with the sheer amount of them available.
They are classic for a reason. This is one man’s opinion and that’s ok if he doesn’t like them but I promise you that 80-90% of people that know about sneakers would rank them and the superstars in the S tier with the Air Force ones. I mean he put the reabocks up there and I think most would put those somewhere between c-A. So, it’s all subjective but the consensus is the Stan smiths and Air Force 1s are the GOAT white sneakers. Maybe the common projects will join them some day. I can’t decide because while they’re already one of the most influential sneakers ever, the Stan smiths influenced them so.. we’ll see.

Thursday has a really good white sneaker made with Italian white nappa leather, pretty similiar to the stan smiths with much superior build quality

The Adidas continental three stripes do serve in my opinion as quite a refreshing alternative to the reeboks or the airforce.

Adidas Stan Smith, there is a certain archetype of blokes that wear these shoes, especially in the UK. Don't really want to be associated with them.
Nike Blazer, there is something off with the design, other iterations with a smaller swoosh was better, I had those in black, useful if you had to wear black shoes for your job.
Balenciaga, despite the whole child thing surrounding the brand which should be enough to stay far far away from the brand!

I owned the all white Stan Smith for 5 years and loved them. Until I tried the Club C 85, now I don’t wear the Smiths anymore. The Club C is just way more comfortable and interesting looking to me while still being super versatile.
Any club c 85 are comfy? I see people talking that The vintage and TV have a better and soft leather

As mentioned the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 are a great shoe, I like the Nike Killshot 2’s and also the Adidas Gazelles. To me the Nike AF 1 are the most overhyped shoe of all time and just don’t look good. The Reebok Club C 85’s have always been one of my favorite shoes even when I was a kid in the 80’s I would rock them all the time, especially the white/ mint with gum soles.
AF1's are great but seeing only triple white pairs everywhere gets annoying tbh lol. You'd think that people would wanna pick a unique colorway to stand out with the sheer amount of them available.

They are classic for a reason. This is one man’s opinion and that’s ok if he doesn’t like them but I promise you that 80-90% of people that know about sneakers would rank them and the superstars in the S tier with the Air Force ones. I mean he put the reabocks up there and I think most would put those somewhere between c-A. So, it’s all subjective but the consensus is the Stan smiths and Air Force 1s are the GOAT white sneakers. Maybe the common projects will join them some day. I can’t decide because while they’re already one of the most influential sneakers ever, the Stan smiths influenced them so.. we’ll see.
