Dear everyone I’m sorry it had to come out this way. Yes i am a lefty. But i only use my left hand for writing, eating, brushing my teeth, throwing, punching, and kicking and everything else I use my right hand for so I’m basically ambidextrous.
I'm a lefty as well. Bro, we aren't wrong handed. The rest of the world is. At best, they're inconsiderate - do you really need to angle the inside surface of the holes in a pair of scissors to be uncomfortable when used in the left hand? How about those desks in elementary school that only give an armrest for the right side? Why is your average notebook bound on the left making it a pain to write in, and not bound at the top so either hand is comfortable? Why are computer mice specifically curved for right handed use? At least they were kind enough to set up watches correctly. Apparently they enjoy having the crown dig into their wrist.
This is the first video I’ve watched of yours. I’m currently staying at my parents house, watching their dogs while they’re on vacation…the same place I was 3 years ago when I also found out my wife (our blob relationship progressed too far, too quickly) was cheating on me. It’s been a weird week. I watched this video because I wanted to buy a pair of Stan smiths. I left with a newfound hope for the future, and a new pair of Stan smiths. I’ve now watched roughly 10 of your videos. I know nothing about denim, jackets, or vintage clothes, but your videos are so incredibly well made that it doesn’t matter. Subscribed and excited to follow your journey. Cheers
Congrats to you guys! It's funny because after I got out of my first "serious" relationship, the person I dated next was like "why do you dress like trash?" And the answer was because I was "punk" and caring about how you look was , obviously, "not punk." So she literally dragged me screaming and kicking into some stores to try on fitted pants and shirts and, to top it all off, replaced my beloved Chuck Taylors with Adidas shell-toe originals. Compared to the Chucks, they were like wearing a cloud on my feet. Even though that relationship didn't last, it definitely sent me down the mens fashion rabbit hole to become the guy who will dig through a thrift store blazer to find the ancient tag telling me how much wool is in the garment. In hindsight, I should sue her.
Hahahahahaha the last sentence got me. I’m also glad I’m not the only one who will walk away from a gorgeous jacket because it’s 32% wool and I wanted 46% in a blend

Love these kind of videos! I’ve had a pair of Stan Smiths in my closet for like 3 years and haven’t gotten around to wearing them. This video makes me want to bust them out!
Much wisdom there delivered in your inimitable offhand way. I think I'm probably stuck in my gelatinous blob stage -- maybe I should try the Stan Smith thing!!!

Legit going back through some of these videos and this guy could be a writer/cast member on SNL. Not even freaking kidding. The comedic timing and dry but definitely not corny humor is just dead on 🤣🤣🤣
I like the fresh white socks with the white kicks. A little piece of unsolicited advice: if you have a smaller shoe size (like myself) you might get sick of the grey heel patch of your socks stinking up out of your low tops. The one size fits 8-12 socks tends to just run large and fit weird on people with a smaller feet. Just cruise over to the women’s section and do a men - > women’s shoe size conversion and buy a package of white athletic socks that place your shoe size in the middle - upper range for that set. I did that last time and I finally have socks that fit right and don’t show the unsightly grey patch.
You just described exactly how I was all throughout my teen years. I went to a very conservative high school, so if someone dressed just a little outside the norm, you'd get made fun of or people would talk behind your back about it. So I was kept in this "gelatinous blob" all throughout high school. And it wasn't until now (at 20) that I've finally found my style and the clothes that make me feel like me. Your stan smiths were my chuck taylors.
Right on bro! Ya an old sneaker is the best especially Stan smith’s 😎 I’ve been rockn my same pair for 6 years lol. I absolutely refuse to give them up.
I feel like they are not new at all and are, in fact, rather ancient. But perhaps my memory is not reliable. Either way, good to see these classics still being worn.
