  • How to Build A Compact Belt Grinder 2 X 42 1 1/3 HP 2 X 84 Knife Sharpener.
This was the first version, now it is version 2.
It will fit in a USPS large flat rate box.
Version 2 includes a rotary belt alignment system. This allows the belt tracking to be adjusted on the fly.

I didn't see the kit on your site. Or are you just doing the motor/controller? Enjoyed this, and it looks like it would work very well.

Originally it was designed to fit in a USPS large flat rate box dissembled. At that time the market prices were $800 to $1500.
Now there are many competitive products and I am too busy to make them. Current retail is about $400 to $500. Still when people see it, they want to buy it.
Many have tried to buy mine right off my work bench.
Do not be fooled by the 550W 1 inch wide belt grinders on Amazon using a similar motor at $300 to $400. Not that the 550W is not a good motor, it is and that one
is way better than many others. Thing is they do not offer replacement part's and 550W is not going to be sufficient in a metal shop. likely great for wood.
If somebody wants to bring this or any product to market using my motors, I will be happy to walk them through/how to do this.
I will likely list this one in clearance within a few days. You can contact me direct using the info found on my site and discuss price and having it listed in your name where is only you will be able to purchase this one. Probability of building another is likely a month to 3 out.
