- Nobody really asked for it but here it is - the condensed, super fast version of my Belt Grinder which I have since named the "PVB-1". Since the long videos with voiceover are not for everyone and some people prefer to just see the thing get made quick like in my old videos, I decided to create some "Directors Cuts" of some of my longer videos starting with the Belt Grinder build which was originally released as a more in-depth 3-part series. I tried to keep this as short as possible, but it's a lot of content to squeeze into just 30 minutes.

This has to be one of the best machining videos on TH-cam. Design, machining, attention to detail, video editing, 10/10 in all departments.

Some of us would actually prefer an extended version. It’s a pleasure watching the series. I’ve watched it many times.
He's got a three part build series of this in his videos. I'd suggest his playlist of it but it's in reverse order

Watched in awe. Being a retired tool maker and I thoroughly enjoyed the CAD interpretation and transition via great machining to a fantastic tool. Cant ask for a better 30 mins.

Unlike the many, many, 2x72 belt grinder fabrication videos I've watched, this one is performed by a professional machinist perfectionist. I've never enjoyed watching any build video as much. I am in awe. Thanks for this.
I've watched the extended version 3 times, and shared it with many people. I believe it's the best belt sander build I've ever seen.

Before buying this sander I would use a rotary sander th-cam.com/users/postUgkx3Pc2vLXfcgM5oIpF1iYcIWyFhHUC-G6v and didn't see the need for a belt sander. Boy was I wrong. this belt sander does the job quickly and gives a professional finish to the wood work.
Phil: This is a beautiful piece of Mechanical Art. Where Metal Warehouse cut to measure stock would suffice and functionally do the same job, you chose to create a mechanical piece of art that must be an absolute joy to look at and a pleasure to use. Great Work

I wouldn't really advise to do it either, but well, you make due with what you got 😅 It's well past time I make an actual flycutter, come to think of it.
