I've missed your will it paper series! I was wondering if you can make paper out of used sticker backing (silicone release liners). I've been saving mine up as they can't go in the normal recycling 😭
I am so happy to see you back again! I have a question: I have been making paper on and off for a couple years now, but recently I have had a problem where when I press my paper under some heavy books, it gets… wrinkly? I can’t seem to figure out why, so if you have any advice I would gladly take it lol.
If I understand correctly what you mean with wrinkly, it might be that the paper is too curled up before you press it and the weight kinda folds it when trying to flatting it. You could try using thicker transfer sheets so they stay flatter or letting the paper uncurl without as much weight first. You can also send me a DM on insta with a picture of the wrinkles and then maybe I can help better!
Hi, recently discovered the art of paper making and your channel too. I love your videos and can you make a video for how to make paper without blender. Thank u so much 💓 😊
LOVED your book, I was wondering if you add some coffee to the water while making the paper would you get the same effect like a coffee died paper? I love the tanned paper in a book, I might have to add soda to neutralize de acidity of the coffee…
Out of curiosity, why does the pulp need to be strained before being added to more water? Is it just to control the ratios? Or is it so you can store the pulp if you're not using it right away?
I just finished making my very first set of paper from following your really popular vid from a few years ago. Currently browsing your channel while my paper dries bc I'm already addicted, so cool to see you're back from a long hiatus! Perfect timing :D This vid is inspiring me to make a journal for my partner, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and positive energy through these videos
The journal is absolutely beautiful! I love that you showed us what didn’t work as well as what did, and how you adapted your methods. Really helpful! Thank you. Lovely to see you back.
