It's just not as fitting. Compare it to Antibirth's Track for the Basement: Innocence Glitched. It encapsulates the loneliness and overwhelm that Isaac feels at the beginning of his journey.
It's not as good as Sacrificial or Antibirth theme. Dipteria Sonata sounds like from a generic videogame, not as emotional as Sacrificial or Innocence Glitched.

This song has inspired me alot in one of my stories. I usually write the dialogues, narrative and lore whilst listening to some music, so I tend to be directed by the melody’s feelings and senses it gives me. I sometimes even try to fit the music in a scenario and it inspires me to put it in my storyline. When I listened to this song, I was a bit confused as to what feelings it tried to express. Was it Grief? Fear? Sadness? When I listened to the guitar’s inclusion, I discovered what it wanted to say, and it is the only music I’ve seen that reproduced this sensation. It talked about Isaac’s fear of the basement, but most importantly about how he feels betrayed. His own mother did horrible things to him, and she tried to kill him at the end, but he escaped. He feels betrayed that his own protective figure has wanted to kill him, and grows anger over the game until mom’s death, in which he realizes how blinded he was by his own rage. Ridiculon’s work is sometimes criticized for not being as good as the original, but he knew how to reflect the story into music. Gotta give him props for that
