Truly a flagship product by NUX this time. A total killer in my opinion. Do not be sad that you're getting slightly less here. Sometime too many options also mean a million different ways to fudge things up. Whatever this new White-Box Physical Modeling Algorithm is that they preach of, it's actually well powered and works all the way through. You definitely hear it through your ears, and feel it in the air. So the two DSPs, one for effects and the other for amps really seem to be well thought out on NUX's part.
When Cerberus came out, it was a wonderful stomp solution for the working musicians. With Trident now, I don't think there's anything much out there to seek anymore. As always, tech does improve and things do get better and we shall get there when the time comes but right now all things the Trident offers, to me just seem very adequate.
