Power on the chip would merely make it possible to turn on the open drain transistor so the line is pulled low. I would make sure that the pull-up resistor has power; that power being absent could make the line low abnormally. Of course, they might have the same supply so that checking either is checking both.

Well, turn out Louis got the correct way to eat sushi, without mixing the soy sauce and wasabi, it become a mess.

Louis, we all know that cats are main feature of this channel… now if you had a face mask of Mr. Clinton while doing board repairs, or have occasional pop-in pictures of Blackberry, then their will be actual retention towards these board repair videos xD

I do the same with the wasabi. I thought it was how you are supposed to do it, the Japanese way.

Maybe a dumb question, but how do you clean your soldering iron so easily? I've been using a quartz block or however it's called for the last few years, that my dad gave me with the soldering iron. But it's definitely not doing a good job at cleaning most of the time or i'm doing something wrong :/

Surely, even without a 100 page guide, it should be quite clear that “AC IN” would be the obvious trigger for an “AC OK” feedback signal?

Great video as always , however I am rather concerned about how much your hands were shaking compared to previous videos. Please consult a doctor to get some tests done for things like parkinsons etc. Could be nothing (or just cold when you was working) but better safe than sorry. Stay safe.

I know exactly what it is and do not need further doctors visits to confirm what I already know from prior.
