I read somewhere recently that the BSA now has about one million members. The membership took a dive for a few years but is coming back. I really hope so. America and young boys need something like this that teaches good morals and ethics.
I always have been proud to say in was both a Club Scout and Boy Scout in the 1970s. Part of what made it special was that my father was our Club Scout Pack Leader.
The downfall of this kind of comradery across the nation leaves a pit in my stomach, a lot of young men need events and groups like this but we see less and less of them now. Very sad, but there's nothing stating that we can't get it back.
We, as a nation, and with the other boys and girls of the Earth, must make an effort to get our kids out of the basement and take the cell phone away for awhile. There are pockets of groups around the world that hold these ideals of friendship and peace, and can grow again to teach future generations productive activities that may turn into life-long interests and livelihoods. If not, I pray seriously, for the future of humanity.
Kids today are learning far more valuable lessons. They are learning about the numerous genders, man-made climate change, and the virtues of Socialism.

I don't think so. I was at the '57 Jamboree. Still having in mind today: the motto Be Prepared. The slogan Do a Good Turn (Deed) daily, and I think it was the Law (?) A scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Cheerful, Thrifty, Obedient,, Brave, Clean,. and Reverent, Always thought it was the Way to be. The former presidential disgusting creature you mentioned, couldn't cut it as a scout, or a decent, gentlemanly human being.
youre a self delusional asshole. i was a scout for many years and when i look back and reflect, nothing about it represented trumpism. just keep drinking the koolaide and eventually your kind will be isolated and reduced to the insignificant bottom feeders you are part of. just know, your kind will never be part of making america great again. i am willing to take arms to make sure this never happens, and so are many others.
