    I have a problem with this. What is the point of pushing iced coffee if it still comes out of the dispenser hot?

    • @mossyson

      Just got one myself, but it probably there to extract more flavor rather than caffeine. Not sure but that’s my best guess.

    i have this same Keurig at work and i bought this for home because it makes the best iced coffee. The iced button brews the coffee so its more stronger and perfect for a 16oz iced coffee when brewed over ice. I use a 30oz tumbler and use two Kcups and do the process 2x.

    • @justlosingit1
      @justlosingit1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I asked a question on amazon and keurig danced around my question. I was trying to find out if this was a gimmick. So you say it brews stronger but I was asking if it brews at a lower temp as to not melt the ice as much. Can you clarify what this button actually does? I dont need it if. It brews at same temp

    • @Ohhsnapitscristal
      @Ohhsnapitscristal 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@justlosingit1 I do believe it brews the coffee at a lower temperature so that it doesn’t melt the ice. I had this same question when I first bought the machine so I tried brewing a regular hot cup of coffee over ice and it definitely melted the ice more and made the coffee watery

      Actually just used it on mine, I thought the exact same thing. But, it produces about 1/2 of a cup of coffee that it normally would. It seems like it runs less water through my pod producing a much stronger coffee pour. It's still hot and will melt some of the ice. I just put the coffee into a cup and ice and heavy whipping cream/milk into a tumbler with some powdered flavored creamer, and mixed it all together. Turned out amazing

    • @KelvinK
      @KelvinK  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey - The amount of water in the reservoir tank doesn't matter. In regards to the ICED Button vs the other size buttons - I'm not sure what the difference is. I would think that the larger the size you pick the weaker the coffee flavor will be. The reason I'm thinking that is in times past I would use like a medium roast and try to brew a 10 oz cup and it just does not taste the same as a 8 oz cup. I actually use dark roast and to me it tastes like it should with a 10 oz cup. That's just my opinion based on my experience with it. Hope it helps!
