I bought the K Supreme 3 times! I really liked it and each one only lasted about 13 months. Pretty stupid to buy it 3 times but I thought maybe I just got a lemon and kept giving it another chance! 🤣 today the 3rd one went out and I went and bought the K Elite that my daughter recommended. Hoping I have better luck with this one!

I've had mine since May 15th and I'm really loving it! When I use the strong button I do notice a bit of a difference. I use the 4 ounce size usually for rinse cycles, and I mostly use the 8 ounce size for coffee and 6 ounces for hot chocolate. I sometimes but rarely use the bigger sizes.

Settings -if I set for 2 hrs to stay on - brew a k-cup & take it out. All setting sizes continually flash-I guess I should not remove used k-cup until ready 4 next brewing within the 2hrs? Don't want settings to flash for 2 hrs.

Is this newer than the K50 model? I had my original for about 10 ten yrs and it just quit so I ordered the K50 to be delivered the next morning & I can’t believe how cheaply this is compared to my old one. Plus you can’t even program it ugh. I guess I just assumed & didn’t read the specs & I had anxiety thinking I wouldn’t have my coffee the next morning Dec 6th. Long story short. Hehe.

I've had my kurig elite a little over a week and recently started experiencing coffee grounds getting pushed out the top of the kcup. I've had to manually push the kcup in order to keep it from flushing coffee grounds out. Also living at a higher altitude and with the high altitude setting on the coffee maker it will only let you set the temp at 187° but it still comes out at about 177° ish so not to bad. If I want it scalding then I throw it in the microwave for another minute. 🥵

This could be a known issue Keurig has with the lower needle basket. I would call Keurig customer care at 866-901-2739. They have great customer service. It sounds like your bottom needle basket needs to be replaced. These can become distorted over time from the heat or it might not have been made correctly. They can send you a new one. It's not that big of a part and it's easy to change.
It could also be you need to do a fresh water rinse about once a week. brew a 8oz with no k cup in the machine and it will clean the upper and lower needles.

Great question. I am not a coffee scientist but the manufacture say not to reuse a k cup. It has something to do with the bloom that the coffee does when the hot water first hits the fresh grounds. after that the coffee does not release anymore flavor. There will always be coffee left in the k cup the hot water just flows over it to brew the coffee. Hope this helps.

The Elite broke down on me it didn’t last a year .
I replace it with supreme plus my water kept getting Luke warm .

The supreme plus had 3 temps, are you using the highest one. and also make sure the machine is not in High Altitude mode. that will cause it to be cooler.
