Recently är det nog inte, för i stycket under nämns pandemin.
They were probably both in Sweden. Kristin has moved to Sweden. She is actually living in small town of Falun, the hometown of Sabaton. She has performed on Sabaton Open Air festival, guess that is where these two got to know each other.

Tommy is music, he did a cover of Music by John Miles as a tribute to his father’s birthday, well worth listen to.

I have a choir background, but haven't had any opportunities to engage with it in a while. This community is a fun way to get back to my singing roots. I'll try to be here on Saturday more often! -Jake
If you really want to hear Tommy's range you should listen to his rendition of "You raise me up", it's a one octave challenge with all that entails.

Not one of my favorite covers of his, actually, though I love the last part. I agree that his sweet spot is in the higher range; I think his best lower range work is shown in Sound of Silence, a very emotional performance.

I've been watching your reaction videos for a long time, and really wanted to catch this one live because I'm a huge fan of Kristin Starkey. But alas, I was accosted by an errant nap and just missed it.
So yeah, Kristin is phenomenal. If anyone's wondering what the "Doctor of Voice" thing is about, it's quite literal, actually; Kristin has an actual Doctor of Musical Arts degree on vocal performance. If you wanna hear more of her, AND want more Christmas songs... well, she did a cover of that one Mariah Carey song, the name of which I shall not utter here lest its curse fall upon me. You know which one. Aside from that, here's a few more suggestions for covers she's done: (all on her YT channel @KristinStarkey )
- *Leprous - Castaway Angels.* Immensely beautiful song with her voice really front and center.
- *Kamelot - Liar Liar.* The original has two vocalists, she does both of their parts (and blows them out of the water).
- *Nightwish - Ghost Love Score.* Can't go wrong with a classic, right? She absolutely kills it, of course.
Or if you want to hear some original material, she recently joined the Italian metal band Temperance. Their latest album is pretty fun stuff.
Kristin’s GLS is phenomenal! She combined the best of Tarja and Floor, and absolutely CRUSHED it.

Tommy is so good at what he does but i really think he has no heart and soul in his voice, it's so robotic. He sings like he plays guitar, it's perfection and to the point but contains no feeling and is always predictable. The woman in the video is a much better singer for me, Tommy never surprises me, he has one working formula and he always go by it.
Seems as if you are envious. How can you not hear all the emotion in his voice?
