Thanx for another great test! Did a similar test myself yesterday when i shot my sub 12ft lb Air arms s510 carbine @ both 30 and 50m, i have not strech her out to 50m before, mostly shoot to max 30m, but at that distance the gun is capable of a single small hole, i have mostly used Air arms 8.44gr in 4.51 headsize, but yesterday i brought with me jsb 7.87gr in 4.52 size and jsb 8.44gr in 4.52 size to see how they performed, first 5 shots at 30m and the clear winner was the air arms 4.51 pellets with maybe a 1 1/2 pellethead size hole, both the 4.52 was the size of my pinkynail, and the group was maybe 2cm to the right from the 4.51... then at 50m, the air arms opened up to maybe 2.5cm, and when i shot with the 4.52´s i didn´t hit the target, i had to adjust the scope to the left with several turns on the scope, but both the 4.52 pellet did much better @ 50m with a groupsize like my thumbnail! I was a bit shocked about the difference, and that a pellet that did worse at 30m could win at 50m... and that the "same" pellet could vary so much where they hit just because of the headsize, i have just ordered some air arms pellets in 4.52 size to see how they will compare, airguns are strange... but addictive...and fun!
It's seems soo In reality if you use the right pellets with a 12 footpounder u can come in at 100 with 4-6 footpounds of energy depending on the pellet which can do some great amount of damage
@@creitec6578 It is a huge fun exercise to do and really test the skills of reading wind and conditions, it will not result in a national sport... lol. But still fun to do.
Again, a very interesting video, I enjoy watching these and it just goes to show that not all guns like the same pellets. How about another H&N shoot out? The H&N Hornet against the H&N Terminator put through those three guns (sub12) at varying ranges. Now that's what I would find interesting.
Although i currently shoot a Steyr I love HW100's, there's just something about them, infact my only course clearance in a HFT competition was with a HW100 (gimb stock).
Excellent video, I'm convinced that the sub 12 boyz are much better shooters than the power wizards. I have so much respect for my sub 12, but there again, only shooting JSB as my AA TDR does not like H&N
i dont fully understand the diffrence between 4.5 and 4.51/4.52 , why does it fit lol? can any 4.50 rifle shoot the 4.52 pellets? and why would you? is it to compensate for worn out barrels? or are the tolerances a bit loose?
I wouldn't be happy with any of these groups. My hft500 does 6mm 10 shot groups at 50m with baracuda match and even my s510r ultimate sporter will do 10 under 15mm at 50m.
Great video, thanks for the testing!

Awesome. Thanks for sharing, my next video looks at the JSB 4,52 and 4,53 as well as the AA 4,52. Should be edited by Wednesday
This is why I prefer shooting.22 at 50m. But does show how these pellets perform at this range. Interesting stuff. I enjoy watching these shoot offs.
Gotta love H&N
Very nice 👌👍
Nice video once more !
Eagerly waiting for the 100 m sub 12

@@taneyadasmandal1901 if thats true ,why are there 6000 fpe RIFLES or 500 s&W REVOLVERS
@@AimSmall yes if there is little wind its fine to see targets hit like empty bean cans ,done at a large distance. 150 meters or more
@@taneyadasmandal1901 well said Taneya....you know your stuff! Love from the UK!

Please test and review QYS pellet from China for all variant. Its the best pellets ever i used, anyway. Well...Nice videos, Sir.

yes even a low power hw 30 s springer 177/10.7 joule shoots little groups at 50 meters.

Each barrel is different, some guns are morte accurate with 4.51 than 4.52, all depends on the barrel and how loose or tight it likes the pellet.
Gert is there a printable version of the targets you use??
