As a lifelong shooter, claiming the merit of experience over scientific measurements... I love your discussions. I am not Roy Rogers, but I make the squirrels nervous... ;o)
*Pretty interesting experiment!* I recently tested a few pellets in a Crosman 2240 and was expecting a pretty bad velocity spread for my banged tin of Smk pellets but they dit alright! _It is a bit unusual to see someone looking on the side while shewting an airgun haha_
I save bent skirts for use in an old break barrel and it has little effect on accuracy. Now a nick or dent on the head of a pellet is a different story. I will say they spray like a shotgun pattern and you occasionally have one that screams like a ricochet from an old western movie.
Whahaha, awaiting a new AA TX200 , then i can do further testing with the springers again, but those guns are just as accurate as the PCP's, will test it for pellet fussiness etc.
Hi Gert , love your videos , if possible when you have time , can you do the following test , for huntiing - what will be the best , shooting 21gr slug at 1000fps vs 23gr slug at 960fps vs 25.39 slug at 930fps or 30gr slug at say 850fps , all doing + - 50ftpounds , and all 4 very accurate.
I use a 5lb block of Plasticine to recover my pellets undamaged, or if you like to see how hollow points react through your gun, interesting if you are into that type of thing.
TH-cam doesn't like those videos at all, I used a very fine barrel polish and rag to clean, it also smoothes the barrel on the inside and takes some rifling off. Just elobow grease and time.
Hi there - could not find another place to drop you a message. Any chance you can do a "best speed" video on the new JSB Exact Jumbo Monster Grand Pellets .22/5.52 mm? Using your Impact slugger would be better for me as I have a n Impact slug gun myself. Thanks in advance

Thank you shooting sub 12… over here in uk this video very much appreciated 👏
thanks for the great information and comparison. Serious case for inspecting and weighing pellets
Excelente.

Hello, can you make video how to proper clean barrel in BRK Ghost ?

You haven't accounted for the barometric pressure per shot. This affects the speed as does the humidity...
Nor the spinning of the earth...

Will have to get my hands on some...
