Bombi came a long way from what she originally was, great job to Robby, Hillbilly, Colton, and the rest of the crew who has worked on this project! Can’t wait to see it in action!
Lives lived well. Years down the road, Robby and Demri will be sitting in their rocking chairs reminiscing about their good friends and days like this one.
This was an absolute enjoyable episode. You and Matt are great to watch the shop talk with a hint of kidding around. Please keep the humor going in your videos, they make my day.
Good friends are not easy to come by, its great to see you all get together! 😊 Bombi is turning out amazing can't wait to see her finished up and get her tracks back on her! 😊😊
Back when i worked as a ag mechanic i would fill in the small grove behind the spring on a seal with grease so when i hammer it in place the spring would stay in in its groove and not pop out.
Blueberry was my vote, too. I'm okay with Deja Blue, though. I don't like Dori the Explori... sounds too much like a Ford SUV, rather than a Jeep. If Matt needs some ventilation in Bombi, maybe the old headlight cut outs can provide it, with some sort of doors that open rather than just bolting covers over them.
You almost made spit my coffee when you mentioned 110 lbs /ft on those little bolts! lol.... Thanks for making my day! Awesome job on the Bomb Bee, you are the best!
As usual Robby, you turned out awesome work! Bombi looks amazing! To bad the XJ wasn't ready yet, but I am positive once Matt's done, it will be amazing as well! Thank you so much for sharing
After the last video, which I left at 4:39, this one was heartwarming and soo good to watch. Matt and Robbie and their crews in one Video are the best! Greets from Germany, Mark
I think that it's awesome that all of you guys , Robby , Matt and Paul work together helping each other out ! I want to so badly to come out there and meet all of you guys ! But finding the time to do so is hard living alone on a farm here in Kansas !
VHS tapes, great touch! I remember when they came out, it was quite the technical advancement. You never had to miss your favorite tv shows. Might be hard to believe, but there were good tv shows 😂. Before “reality” shows took over.
Story about sand .I used to work on a crab boat from crescent city cal .the skipper years ago boat the boat from another port it had hit a bouy and cracked a plank and went down in the river outside eureka.. well hundreds years later I was still eating sand from it falling from the ceiling. Sand for days .old wood boat could paint and it still would be all over .
They BOMB through the course!! The co-driver/spotter in the white polo cracked me up! Looked like a great way to celebrate a birthday milestone! Happy 30th!
Good morning Robby you guys did an incredible job and I am looking forward to seeing the Bombee back in action. I like the name Deja Blue for your jeep
You's do some amazing work Robby and Crew. Wish we could get more videos because I love watching you guys. I have FabRats, Robby Layton, B&M Garage and Matt's off Road Recovery and Chads Fab and Merlin. These are my videos I waiting for every week. Thanks you's for making your channels Guys
Hey Robbie, "Jerry rig everything", in his recent video, he was talking about painting that electric Humvee he made. It would be an interesting collab. I think he is based out of UT somewhere.
Another great and entertaining video , Robby. I really appreciate that Matt always wants his equipment to look good. It just makes his image that much more professional. You and your crew made the Bombi really stand out. That bright Yellow will really stand out in the snow..Great Job once again. MWP Cosby Tn
I would watch then stopped thinking there was something missing, I tuned in on the day you introduced the boss then I knew you would have been right to call her whatever you want at any time like sometimes your wife, friend, grandma and all,Matt was like a eight year old on Christmas day even before seeing it,shows he was holding his breath
Yeah you saw how he bounced towards the trailer,if I was not guided to watch I was still going to have missed and still to the times you would say she's your wife I would have missed seeing the kids too, it's not just her it's every woman if white I just get jealous thinking you guys have kids then remember I have to wait, not that I am in a hurry because if I was I would be jealous when seeing you too
Just love it when two of my favorite TH-camrs get together! I wish I could afford to attend the Off Road Games - y'all need to give away a set of tickets for the games!!!
Just smile ☺ and wave 👋 everyone, teamwork making the dream work, have a great week and count your blessings amen. Don't forget to spaye and neuter your pets....😁👍
Love the 'Fat Free Milk' reference @ 12:20. Then Matt did a variation at 23:08. Many years ago a group of us at work would award coworkers the "Dairymans" award for a job that took too long. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Bombi really did come out amazing. Matt must be over the moon. It would be nice to see a similar 5.3 LS go into the Jeep Although that stock 4.0 will keep you from breaking things from having too much power. Could that unnamed driver be Westen? That would be interesting... love him, but I am pretty sure he's never driven a vehicle that he hasn't broken 😂😂😂
Greetings Robby, the team, families, friends and fans. Great job!! Hope everyone has a wonderful New Year, take care, stay healthy and enjoy your life!
Great video! I am curious if Hillbilly is okay. I noticed him walking pretty gingerly into Matt's shop and out to see Deja blue! I hope he is doing okay.
Very nice work, deja blue, hard for guys to get into the name dory. I think. Least 4 me. Just invision Black, grey stripe and blue. The same colors as the shirts. Nice 1 inch gtey pin strip, flairing back to 3.5 to 4 inch pin strip, mayve a v edge flair to wider pin stripe from the middle of the passenger door. seperating the black lower body color and blue above the grey pin stripe. For the rest of the top of the jeep.
Thanks for another amazing video!! I just wanted to let you know that the piece on the tailshaft is known as a tone ring for a vehicle with a electronic speedometer. The plastic or nylon gears have been around for a lot of years. I was changing them out a lot back in the early 80's when people were lifting their 4x4's, but still wanted their speedo right!😅😅 I was wondering if the drive gear you put on the tailshaft came with the springclip that holds the gear in place & won't let it move. The torqueflight transmissions that came in any Chrysler products were the worst to work on because the drive gear was cut/machined into the rear tailshaft. You also may need to change the driven gear to get the speedometer correct!! Thanks for all of your hard work you put into these builds!!
-- Ha! I DID THAT! One of my 7 year old daughter's favorite pastimes is putting those stickers (albeit featuring a different individual, whom I'm not sure is aware he's is an individual) on prices at grocery stores. Gas pumps they just take them off. And she got in trouble once, caught on camera doing it, but, and you'll love this: she put the sticker on the mute button for the pump's ad display. That was why she got a talk. Me, I have the unique Let's go Brandon Edition 2004 Tahoe Z71.
Robby never ceases to amaze me between his body work, painting, and mechanical skills. Not to mention the crazy amount of philanthropy. Dude is solid.
Bombi came a long way from what she originally was, great job to Robby, Hillbilly, Colton, and the rest of the crew who has worked on this project! Can’t wait to see it in action!
Can’t forget about Home Depot Guy.
Lives lived well. Years down the road, Robby and Demri will be sitting in their rocking chairs reminiscing about their good friends and days like this one.
Mad talent on display.
On big fat shiny new _WIDE GLIDE_ tracks!
My dad had a separate tape rewind machine that was way faster than VCRs and would save wear on the VCR's motor.
I remember having a dedicated device simply to rewind VHS tapes. Saved wear & tear on the VCR itself
The VHS thing was brilliant!!
Funny and Lasting Friendships are AWESOME. GoOD Job Robby, Bombi says Thanks.
Tell Matt to swap out the black headlight hole covers with vent covers if he needs more ventilation. He could even add blowers behind said vents.
I would love any vehicle built by Matt, Robby, Tom and the crew touch!
Bombi looks amazing. You can cuddle Bombi the cat to get over the pain.
14:03 hilarious
You need to turn the front headlight covers into vents if you need to cool of the cab!
That's a sweet idea. You can get brass sliding vents from boat supply stores that would work perfectly.
@@Mardy72 that’s exactly what I had in mind
What a great job on Bombi. I smiled as I watched how excited Matt was.
Robby great job. It looks spectacular!
Bombi looks fantastic!
If I'm ever in Utah and in need of some auto body work, I know exactly where to go.
Adventures with Demri and Dory, can't wait to see the first video
Back when i worked as a ag mechanic i would fill in the small grove behind the spring on a seal with grease so when i hammer it in place the spring would stay in in its groove and not pop out.
I've got a DVD/VCR combo and a cassette player! Come on down! LMBO
Robby you've made Matt a very happy camper❤
So cool guys.....I've never seen such a huge collaboration of youtubers working together.....not just Matt and Robby....all the off roaders !
One step closer to being done for both Bombi and Robby's Jeep. Getting there everyone stay safe and healthy.
Bambi looks flipping awesome Robbie, all of you should be proud.
Bambi 😂😂😂😂 ❤
Bambi is still out running free in the woods with the rest of the deer lol
15:08 I'm excited for the turbo! Please force/persuade Matt! Just thing of the noises in the snow
Bombi is show ready, Great work
Nice work Robby & Team ! Bombi looks outstanding. Wayyyyy Better than New.
The Jeep ought to look really nice in 'Blockbuster' Blue and Silver.
Bombi shoulda kept a version of the pop up roof vent for air flow.
Just replace the headlight blanking panels with some sliding vents. Boat supply stores have brass ones in all different sizes.
@@Mardy72 that's a great idea also.
Multiple rattle can artist paint the truck at the games and you just professionally clear coat it 🙂
Ok Matt has the banana so yours could be blue berry
The mountains in Utah and Idaho have an abundance of huckleberries. Blueberries are a domestic form of this fruit.
Deja Blu is what they've been calling it
That's way better than deja blue
Blueberry was Tom's first suggestion. I think its a great name for it
Blueberry was my vote, too.
TRUE LOVE OF THE CREATIVITY OF THE METAL WORLD...such a dedicated artist, symmetry engineer and mechanic...THE LAYTON TEAM!!!
Bombi is spectacular . Layton does great work!!
Awesome video! Thank you for sharing! 😊
Matt already tore the paint up on bombi already putting the motor in
29:56, translated to Warhammer, Matt would be an Orc, and not only would this Bombi be faster, it would blow up things gooder!
After the last video, which I left at 4:39, this one was heartwarming and soo good to watch. Matt and Robbie and their crews in one Video are the best! Greets from Germany, Mark
Some of the best TH-camrs in one channel is the best I watch both channels faithfully and you guys and ladies are the best
Bombee turned out Awesome
Excellent job on Bombi, enjoyed another video.
I think that it's awesome that all of you guys , Robby , Matt and Paul work together helping each other out ! I want to so badly to come out there and meet all of you guys ! But finding the time to do so is hard living alone on a farm here in Kansas !
Well done guys. Bombi looks awesome
Robby your team kills it everytime!! Bombi looks awesome
Bunch of happy campers today..great show

I think yall did a great job on the snow-cat.
I like all the off road you tuber friends. Wholesome and interesting to watch. Funny too!
Robbie, you came up with the perfect name for the Jeep. Banannablue. Brilliant.
They BOMB through the course!! The co-driver/spotter in the white polo cracked me up! Looked like a great way to celebrate a birthday milestone! Happy 30th!
Fine job Robby and Crew , The Bombi looks AWESOME. And it seems like Matt and Crew are doing a good job on DejaDori. Thanks for the video guy's.
Good morning Robby you guys did an incredible job and I am looking forward to seeing the Bombee back in action.
I like the name Deja Blue for your jeep
"The time has come", or you could say "the time came", when Robby met DejaBlue. Great work and enjoyable videos, thank you for sharing!

XJ’s and MJ’s are some of the goats of the auto industry. Don’t mind the unibody but a good welder and stiffeners helps

You know, that Demri is quite the good looking gal!
Love the togetherness ,, best entertainment on the the interwebz !! Bombi is slick ❤

So inspiring to see two friends helping each other out and finding a creative way to do it
Looks awesome in the sun. 26:12
Such great guys and old school trading knowledge and trades swapping labor great friendships ❤
13:10 Im waiting for a three way camera show Staring Bobby, Matt and Paul !
If Westen is driving it , it’s only going to run for about an hour before he blows it up!🤣🤣

Bombi looks great! Such a cool little rig for Matt's fleet. Can't wait to see it tracked up and running!
Great video! I am curious if Hillbilly is okay. I noticed him walking pretty gingerly into Matt's shop and out to see Deja blue! I hope he is doing okay.
Deja Blue!!❤
That is my 52nd birthday so I hope you get it by then and you win Robby I would love it. KEEP all the great work coming.
Thanks for the content

Dejablue would be a great name for the Jeep since your main color is blue , dory is not so great for truck !
5:17 I've never seen a pie-shaped bearing before...
AWESOME!
LOOKS AWSOME. Well received, thumbs up from ED too.

Love it. Glad to see you, your crew and Matt and company. You guys are the "Cool Guys" to us.
Thank you, and again stay true to yourself
They even made dedicated rewinders for that purpose.😊
You killed the Bombi project. Amazing work!
DEJA BLUE, dang it.
I like Deja Blue because it is the bananna all over again
You guys did an awesome job on Bombi, can't wait until you do your wrecker and whisker's!!
New shop is looking good. Hopefully the skin goes on soon.
Pretty sure Matt meant to say "Earl Scheib" at 20:50. He painted cars in Los Angeles for $19.95 back in the 60's. Just paint. No sanding.
Boy Hillbilly looked like he was in some pain walking into Matt’s
Great Teams... sharing expertise... Always do what you do best 🙂 and let someone else do what they do best too 🙂
Love both your and Matt's content! Both you and your teams do such wonderful work. Thanks for sharing!
