Good afternoon Teacher T from Herefordshire UK. Now I'm retired do I miss my old engineering company. Nuts bolts spring washers were plenty. Along with teflon and nylon washers in all shapes and sizes! Nothing worse than receiving a parcel with missing fixing nuts or screws or brackets that just won't fit! Safe cruising you two, and thanks for sharing ...
Thanks for sharing! It helps a lot for others that don't have to vaste money on things that do not work and rather concentrate on things that really works fine!
I just had a glimpse on your subscribers' status.... I thought you'd be easily at or near 10K. Keep it up your good contents! I look forward that you cross 10K milestone!
Hey @autorevvv Did you see any change in performance/milage post i stling the Rhinos? I would also ask how your suspensions are faring right now. The mishap that happened to you was extremely frightening, and should never happen to anyone.
@@siddhantguru001 Hey no change in performance, mileage dips by 1 km, it’s only a slip on, not a full system exhaust, so doesn’t affect engine at all. Sounds great!!!
@@siddhantguru001 Suspensions are doing fine, been 8 months now, no issues so far. I have the LCB saddle stay now which does not mount on the suspension so that’s helping. It was a scary unusual incident, thanks so much for checking in 🙌
I have been using a bykology backrest ans luggage rack, not sissy bar though, since a year now and I can attest that ut feels and looks much better than the original. The luggage rack also comes in handy to run small errends.
Hi, Thanks for great videos. I really like the sadlebags you found and I am curious as to if the outlaw duffel bag from Tripmachine would somehow fit on the luggage rack? Could that be something for a future video?
Ha ha. Many thanks. Yes the outlaw duffel bag from Trip Machine Company would be perfect. Let’s see what happens. The are providing the channel with a limited time 10% discount code soon if you are interested in the saddle bags 🙏
@Teacher-T-Thailand I really appreciate the quest you are on to build/modify your own best motorcycle. A level of health nerdiness that makes it interesting. More rare than one might think on TH-cam in my opinion. I would love to use that 10% code but I really need to get a Super Meteor first :) As winter is approaching here in Sweden I hope I can mange to get a testride before winter sets in.
Hi from Germany. Thanks for all these instructive videos. I'm curious to see how the Sahara Seats behave in the rain. Will they get soaked because the stitching is not waterproof? Have a nice trip and a safe journey.
The bike was left in the rain all night last night. No rain today, but we had we bottoms for the first half of the day. But so much more comfortable for us both, compared to the original seats. Bike parked under cover tonight 😂🙏
To be honest, even the original seat wasn't waterproof enough. I have tried to add some extra foam into my original back seat and when the seat modifier removed the cover, I could clearly see a lot of watermarks on the foam.
I’m confused. The link sends me to just the tall sissy bar without the luggage rack. In the website the have the luggage rack but it doesn’t have that style seat, it’s like. Short one. I like the one you have what am I missing
They specific,y made it for me as they were out of stock of the short one. Like you, I now prefer the one I have. It will be a case of emailing them. I will message them also. Thanks for watching. 🙏
Ha ha many thanks. No, sadly Hua Hin is as far as we go, to visit and stay with friends for a couple of days. We”ve just arrived, via Sukhothai, Kamphang Phet and Kanchanaburi. The ,long way around. Tanks for the invite🙏
I've had the low rider sahara seats installed after seeing your video and all i can say is I'm not satisfied. First of all they're not waterproof, secondly the seat id already showing discomfort with spiky things piercing through yhe seat on both sides. I think you should probably stick with the original modification you did with the seat initially. Ans also regarding the backrest i prefer Mkdesign over bykology. Anyways thank you dor dor videos,
We are now finding out the non waterproof part. Some one has suggested rubbing Dubbing into the stitching holes to waterproof them. I will try it. But as for comfort, it wins hands down. Sorry to hear you are not happy. I was going to try the low rider seat next. Maybe I don't now. But best to email them your concerns. 🙏

@@Teacher-T-ThailandYour most welcome sir 🤘
The backrest and the rack actually look better than I thought they would. Enjoy your trip! Looking forward hearing of your adventures.

That's the idea. I just waste my money 🤣 Anyone want to buy a genuine RE touring seat with back rest? 🤣🙏
@@Teacher-T-Thailandactually if I don't get the Bikology for mine I'd be interested in the RE backrest 😉 (to ship it to Lamphun 😉)

Glad you got that sorted. The bike looks awesome 😎
Thanks. 1,200KM in. Everything comfortably working as it should 🙏
Bykology is an excellent, reliable brand. I got the Rhinos exhaust and the headlight cowl from them! And....great video as always Mr. T.
Thanks Autorevvv. I am considering the Rhinos for next upgrade 🙏

An old bikes tip I leant many years ago that helps waterproof leather and stitching. Ordinary shoe dubbing wax. Hope this helps?

I think the back rest and the original seat look 10 time better. This back rest look like the chopper's from the 70s 😂
Ha ha yes. And that is the style I prefer. Classic retro cruiser now tourer 🤣🙏
No instructions and not enough bolts. Bykology has lost me as a potential customer.
I'm finding no instructions a common theme with Indian after market products. But who reads instructions these days anyway 🤣🙏
