The cake came out beautiful. The ridges at the top are cool, and how you smoothed the ends really elevated the cake. And the video itself was stunning. I loved all the different angles and the video's pacing.
As always the video is really nice and the cake looks really yummy! I wish I was back home with an oven to be able to bake again!! But, for now, I will just enjoy your video and imagine how all the things that you bake taste, ahah! Thank you for sharing it with us!
Love all these meal-for-one recipes! It makes sure easy storage in a fridge or no leftover even for more people as I just need to increase the number of mini cakes instead of baking a cake of a large size! It is always troublesome to store leftovers of a big cake...
from all the different camera angles, especially when you put the whipped cream on, i wonder - how much work do you put in and how long did it take you to film this????? thanks for your work? the video is beautifully shot
Wow! The cake looks so pretty and I just so happen to have all the ingredients to be able to make this cake :). Also thank you for the matcha tip, I've always been frustrated with my matcha clumping. Maybe a future video idea could be different matcha based drinks?
Interesting that you still had to level them off, even though you used baking strips. I thought the idea of baking strips was so no dome would be created. Just found your videos and I like them very much. Thank you for creating and uploading.
welcome! baking strips do help significantly with reducing the doming (which would have been much more aggressive in this case without them) but I find that it only fully eliminates it when the layer of batter is quite thin. since I chose to bake the entire cake in one pan it creates a much thicker layer which inevitably will still dome a bit...
Hello Jasma! I was just looking for a 4 inch matcha sponge cake recipe and saw your video in my recommended! Your matcha cake looks so good 😍I'm definitely gonna try out your recipe. But can I use cake flour instead of AP flour? And do I substitute 1:1?
Not only simple to make, but also very tasty!🤍 I recommend trying this recipe out as it’s not sour nor too sweet of matcha (aka asian parents approved bc “its not too sweet”😁) Thank you! I used avocado oil for flavorless oil, put the batter all in one pan coated w oil, and baked at 350F for 25mins
my eggs weigh roughly 50 g each, it's alright to not be super exact so depending on how much your eggs differ in size, use however many you think will be suitable to not change the recipe too much!
Love the "make a mini cake" series ! 🥺

The cake is soooooo cute I can't even!!! ❤

thank you🥺 filming varies from 4-5 hours usually...i intend to do a behind the scenes video some point in the future about my process!
Love love love this video
Thank you ! love it 😍
Thanks for the recipe! I tried making it the other day and the cakes came out super dense. Not sure why :/ yours look nice and fluffy
I can’t wait to try these out ❤ try stabilized whipped cream if you want to store for the next day.
Hi Jasma, I was wondering what kind of matcha powder do you recommend for baking?
Wow! The cake looks so pretty and I just so happen to have all the ingredients to be able to make this cake :). Also thank you for the matcha tip, I've always been frustrated with my matcha clumping. Maybe a future video idea could be different matcha based drinks?
Hoping you can make a sugar free/low carb version of your mini cakes.💕😍
好開心陪寶貝公主整mini matcha cake
Jasma beautiful cake!! Looks yummy too🎉. I must ask you, if you used ceremonial grade matcha? Thanks.

Thank you Jasma for making this video for us, I’m going to try to make this matcha cake . ( and I leaned some English from you) ❤ Ty
my pleasure 😊
Love this series!! Could you do a mini cake that uses a sheet pan?
you can just bake the same batter in a sheet pan and reduce the cook time!
@@JasmaFusionCuisine Okay, thank you very much!!
Hi! I just found this recipe and i really wanna try it but can i just do a regular cake without the matcha? Would it still work?
Hello Jasma! I was just looking for a 4 inch matcha sponge cake recipe and saw your video in my recommended! Your matcha cake looks so good 😍I'm definitely gonna try out your recipe. But can I use cake flour instead of AP flour? And do I substitute 1:1?
Glad you found me! and yes, using the same amount of cake flour will work just fine
@@JasmaFusionCuisine Yay! Thanks so much for replying 😍So just to confirm, I'd be using 65g of cake flour? Cuz of the 55g AP flour + 10g cornstarch?
sorry for the late reply but yes that's right!
@@JasmaFusionCuisine It's ok! Thanks so much for getting back to me still :3
hi, if i want my cake bigger can i simply double or triple the recipe? thank you 🙂
what sifter do you use?
Cute☕️🎂🥰
Hi Jasma,非常喜歡看你的影片,從你小時候看到現在,你長大了,我家人一直還在看.感謝你和媽媽用心的分享🙏。
請問這影片的背景音樂的名字是什麼?很喜歡,謝謝❤
Do you by chance have the measurements for a 2 layer version of this? 😬😬
Not only simple to make, but also very tasty!🤍 I recommend trying this recipe out as it’s not sour nor too sweet of matcha (aka asian parents approved bc “its not too sweet”😁) Thank you!

Watch all the mini cake series. May I know what's the purpose of adding corn starch? Thank you.
corn starch contributes to the texture of the cakes! it makes them have a softer and finer crumb:)
Where do you get matcha powder? I’ve been trying to find it.
excuse me, do you mind, what did you use the piping tip number is that 4:21?
hi! is it okay to use olive oil instead
it'll have quite a strong flavour so i wouldn't recommend it, go for something less overpowering so the taste of matcha can really shine!
@@JasmaFusionCuisinei see! thank you so much, do you also do a crumb coat before decorating it?
hii i just tried this recipe out but every time i frost my cake my whip cream ends up melting on me even tho i let my cake cool. any tips??
it sounds like you may have over whipped the cream! does it look grainy after it starts to melt or literally turned into liquid?
@@JasmaFusionCuisinehello! my frosting became clumpy with liquid, did i over mix it or is it the temperature of the whipping cream?
❤❤❤
Olá Jasma, tudo bem ? Amooooo demaissss suas receitas , fáceis ,práticas e deliciosas , muito obrigada ! ❤️♥️😋🍰🥧😋😃😍🤩🤗👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌹🌺🌻🌷🌼
👍👍👍👍👍👍
I only have vegetable oil, is this okay?
yes!
If i only have a medium sized egg, how much should i use in this recipe?
my eggs weigh roughly 50 g each, it's alright to not be super exact so depending on how much your eggs differ in size, use however many you think will be suitable to not change the recipe too much!
The frosting I made came out too soft even refrigerated 🥲
😊❤😋😋😋
i made it and did not taste good
