My work truck is 18 f-150 5.0 and I pull trailer with 2 to 3 fireplaces and 8 to 12 8 inch cinder blocks and my truck tool box and truck still just pulls!!! STRONG trucks!

Really humble car owner/modder. That's a rare rare thing. Usually they say a 10 second car could run 9s or exaggerate/over dramatize whatever with some excuse, etc. This guy almost tries to downplay all of it. I wished more car guys were like that guy

Awesome truck!!! All I would change and yes I’m a old 50 year old fart but I would have to raise it up some. Not anywhere like stock just a couple of inches in front and a couple in rear. @@bigboreracing356 Why Not? Not only would the truck handle incredible it would be an engineering accomplishment only one other person has done in the lightning platform and it was a great success. Leaf spring solid axles are archaic technology if we are going to progress we need to push what is possible.
People are swapping them in old ford f100 in conjunction with the crown vic ifs. They handle extremely well.

@@DEATHWINGS5000 I love a good analogy comparison, but I'm really not following this one. Why would anyone put a high-power scope on a .22lr. Besides cost the only other reason to use a .22 caliber round is to not explode small animals. My answer for that conundrum is to not prey on the weak as their life has enough challenges.
As far as the IRS vs. Solid Axle Debate. Besides perceived durability issues, cost, and some design limitations. The IRS is Perfect in every way.

I bought a vent guage pod on the internet from someone that goes by BLOCK8HEAD. They're totally different vent guage pod than what you have. Love your truck. I have the same lowered but 4x4. Awesome 60 fts. Cheers

I've been a mechanic for over 25 yrs. Installed performance parts on my cars. I could never do something like this. These guys are on another level. How they have the knowledge and know-how to do something like this is very impressive. Especially at such a young age! Wow!!!

It just goes to show, the coyote has so much more potential than the ecoboost (and sounds way better too!)
Well yeah once you add boost to the 5.0 but for a budget build eco is more economical

@ I have a gen 1 2.7. Upgraded turbos, e30 tune, etc... and dynoed 505. Cant run e85 Without significant fueling upgrades. So leaving maybe 50hp on the table. IMHO on the 2.7 being a CGI block 600rwhp is max on stock internals and thats pushing it. I know RMB makes some nasty 3.5 blocks that are like 10k at least ones capablenof handling 750rwhp. Im not one of these brand vs brand or engine vs engine loyalist. I just have a fetish with fast trucks.I love the ecoboost(im pushing it on purpose) but would drive a boosted 5.0 any day. I came from Chevy and modded those too(4.8 killed on nitrous, LSI killed on nitrous, and an procharged texas speed 408)..... I wouldn't be caught dead in a Dodge though....lmao
