@@curlyvisuals5398 I've seen many forced induction trucks run way over 120mph (all older first and second gen Lightnings) so that doesn't sound right to me, but I haven't been to the track in over 14 years, so Im definitely not the authority on the subject. You may be right about these newer trucks

I’ve owned more turbo ls cars then most people have owned cars , if you can’t admit the coyote is a better engine - you’re in denial . No stock sealed gm engine running 7s out there that I’ve seen - coyote has done it . Hell even the little 4.6 made it into the 5 second zone, 10 years before the ls pulled it off - and both motors debuted within s year of eachother ..
As a Lightning owner, you guys give me a lot of hope for my truck.. my build has started but I’ll probably have to hit you guys up for suspension

Check out boosted f150 he goes into detail great guy also TH-cam. There is a lot of $ get those trucks into the 8/9 range. Need suspension wheels tires motor rebuild trans transfer case. You can use stock for a while but they blow. Everything does watch his channel u will see

How do you fully disable traction control on the f150's? Still kicks on with both traction control off and stability control off
Hold down traction control off with brake held at the same time. After about 5 seconds, you should get a light saying "advance trac off/disabled.

Hey Midnight Performance, awesome video. I was wondering if you could help a brother out. It's clear that you know these trucks inside and out. Have you ever had to deal with the deceleration rattle when you first start driving? I have a 18 F150 5.0. I love this truck, but damned if I know what to do about the noises this engine makes. It pops sometimes while accelerating and suffers from the deceleration rattle. Took it to the dealership and they said Ford says its completely normal. Thoughts?
Sounds like you maybe got a lemon. Have they tried re-flashing the computer? Have you tried a better grade oil? Keep bugging them until they fix it! Gen 3’s are known for these issues, and Ford knows it. Use your warranty, a truck this new shouldn’t have mystery noises.
@@Twizztify according to the dealership, Ford says these noises are normal. I use mobile one full synthetic. 91 octane. There's always a small pop when giving it moderate acceleration, like going up a thruway ramp. I can't get a dealership to even diagnose it because of Ford's blank statement on these noises. Been a Ford guy for the past decade. Last one I'll ever buy.
