Note to Cass at Clutterbug I had a breakthrough epiphany because of your podcast. I’ve been following your TH-cam channel, bought your books, listened to your podcast for a long long time. I’m good at cleaning and organizing, my problem has always been in the decluttering - it’s like pulling my own teeth with worn out pliers; painful and ineffective. I follow Dawn and Dana and am good at looking for trash, taking it there now, and duh-clutter, but I just run into some stupid block when it comes to getting rid of good, useful, or sentimental stuff. Nearly everything I own is in that last category! Then I was listening to your podcast #170 yesterday while I was driving and was epiphanized (yeah, I made up a word😉). You were talking about being responsible for everything you own, and how much of your energy and time do you want to devote to it, etc, and it hit me….EVERYTHING YOU OWN, OWNS YOU, TOO! I know, you professional experts probably think this is elementary knowledge that any dummy starting out would quickly grasp, but I’ve been a student of decluttering and organization since the early 80’s, and it just hit me yesterday the question I need to ask myself is: “Do I want to be owned by this item?” I have a feeling that my answer is going to be more NO than YES. As they say in Texas (nod to Dana) “I’m fixin’ to find out!” 😁 BTW, I’m a bee. Thanks for being a conduit of inspiration, Gail White Blackfoot, Idaho
I have chronic pain and mental illness and it's just expected that I'm "behind" on housework. But I've gotten my house to a point where we are never so far behind that my husband and I can't tidy the house in an afternoon. I love the idea of showing love for yourself by decluttering. We are worth so much more than our crap! I also got to a point where I was mad and fighting for myself by decluttering space. I'm so glad I did and grateful I found your channel!
@@msaijay1153 that's awesome. So glad it helped. I'm super tidy yet have a spouse and two steppies with ADD (the ADHD without hyperactivity.) The kids are now in University so I can get rid of so much! I had read that Cassie talks a lot about dealing with ADHD clutter. She has helped me to cope with and to understand my family.
📢 Smartest way to shred paper with staples: Step 1: tear the corner with the staples off Step 2: shred the paper ‼️ NO MORE REMOVING STAPLES WITH A STAPLE REMOVE BEFORE SHREDDING‼️ 😊
I don’t know how you do it, but you have one of the best live Q&A sessions, consistently, hands down. You stay focused on the questions, even with your off-shoot stories, you stay calm and sane, you connect with each person while answering their questions. I’m amazed each time. Thank you. Oh! And I learn things each time, which makes this so worth it. ❤️
I was a ladybug when I first took your quiz, but few years later I realized I’m actually a cricket!! The difference is the season I was in. See, I had a baby and a toddler when I first took your quiz. Macro sorting worked great when I was busy keeping my kids alive, and I now enjoy the time I have to fold clothes and micro-organize❤
Case, as far as the uniform question…. I have a hanging sweater cubby thing in my closet. When I do my laundry I put an entire outfit ( scrub pants, scrub top, undershirt, panties , bra and socks )in each cubby so I don’t have to think in the morning. I leave for work at 6 am everyday. So the less thinking the better
When you tell us to "fight for myself" that really helps motivate me. I have not been used to fighting for myself. I think that is partly because I am a perfection paralyzed bee.
The grandma question - my mom kept closets and entire rooms full of our old stuff..... I ended up moving back in with them with 3 kids and let me tell you, it is NOT a blessing! My kids don't want to play with most of it, and I am just always worried they'll break stuff. 2 totes would have been amazing and felt special, this is a burden.
Agreed! In our family there only ended up being one grandkid and he didn’t live nearby so he only played with the stuff here and there. And then he grew up (it happens so fast!) and the grandma died. We are now decluttering 40+ year old toys, many of which were never played with.
The get ready caddy! ⭐️ I had no idea why this worked for me, but your exactly right! My bathroom counter is a mess with face wash, and hair ties, and misc, but I have a makeup bag and that system has worked for me for years! It has my everyday skincare in it too. I work from home, but often put my makeup on in the car (hubby drives don’t worry!) when headed to church or to meet friends. Everything is contained, and I can use it in the bathroom, or at my desk, or bring it in the car, and then everything goes back when I’m done. I’m sorting out my counter this weekend and getting a container I can dump it all in. One of my drawers in the vanity is like this- a cup for makeup brushes, a container for all the skincare that’s open right now, small cup for tiny hair clips, bin for hair ties, clips for getting ready, and Bobby pins. I understand myself better now! Thank you! I created this system for my husband a while back, but don’t know why I didn’t apply it to myself! 🤦♀️
I keep hearing you say that over thinkers are detailed people. Or perfectionists. I do want to say that there is definitely a lot of non detailed people who are overwhelmed and indesisive or maybe they have made so many mistakes in their lives their trust on their own judgement isn't there too. I am just putting that out there that if you are an over thinker it may not be that you are detailed. All this coming from a butterfly over thinker. 😉 But I will say that action is the best remedy for overthinking always. So if an over thinker is reading this...... start with Small spots. Just start somewhere. Start with the easy. Perspectives change. You will build muscles and some things may be hard for you so skip those things and circle back later because there is always something easier for you to tackle first. 😊 And if things creep back in it isn't your fault. That is life. Don't beat your self up. Just jump back in and reset those spaces again. You aren't a failure. You aren't hopeless. You can make progress. ❤ You can do this for you. You are worth it. You are amazing. You are capable. ❤
Im decluttering room by room while Spring cleaning each room. Next week are our two upstairs bedrooms. Once Im done with the rooms, the house is easier to clean. Im starting to run out of things to declutter.
what you just said is GENIUS. I'm the one who routinely takes off clothes (or opens something, etc) and then immediately my brain moves on to something else and whatever I had in my hand is just dropped where it was when my brain moved on. My BIGGEST issue is laundry. Even though I moved to the cube system several years ago so I can just toss things in there, the cube system is in the closet, where most people keep their clothes. But you're right: I should move my organizing system to where the mess is, which is out in the bedroom where my husband piles my clean clothes for me to "fold" but it ends up piling up so much that it overwhelms me and then I just avoid handling it. But if my organizing system of cubes is right there, I bet it'll be a lot easier mentally for me to put things in bins while getting dressed in the morning or watching tv before bed at night. GENIUS I TELL YOU, GENIUS!!!
This is such a wonderful hour - sorted through my clothes and Stayed FOCUSED! I so wish I'd known this stuff when my son was little - things might have been so different 💔
We have gotten rid of so much stuff recently because we’ve been slowly renovating parts of our house and fixing things that needed to be fixed for a long time. It’s forced me to go through EVERYTHING we own to make room for the renovations. We’re talking emptying whole closets and not putting anything back in! I think we may end up be more minimalistic after this. I’m a ladybug and I’ve been following your advice for ladybugs. Slowly we’re setting each room up to be the most functional!
I am in the same situation. As rooms get emptied for renos only the things we need (or fit) are going back. It’s been a life changer. Good luck with your projects!
My house didn’t need resetting however this video inspired me so much! I decluttered all the cabinets and drawers in the master bathroom, a closet and the linen closet. So very satisfying!
I'm a tad late to the party. But I must say that I discovered your channel only a month ago at most, and you have helped me so, so much!! I am somewhere between a bee and a cricket, I'm very detail oriented, extremely organised by nature; but with very poor health and an abusive relationship, my house went to s*#%. I have way too much stuff, with the intention of "I'll sell that"...I never did! Now I've got 8 years plus of crap I don't need, and has no value now anyway! It's taking me some time, but I'm finally getting there. I've hired a friend to help me once a week, and I no longer hate myself -I really hated myself before, and joined with poor health, autism and CPTSD...its taken so long to get here. I've still a lot to do, but it's in motion, it's getting done, my house is starting to work for me, and I'm managing so much better than I have in years! Thank you so much Cas, I think I clicked with you from the very first video I watched, and the help I've had from these videos is immeasurable ❤
I have already been at this reset for weeks now because I have baby coming in early June and I am gonna have a c section so I wanna make sure that the house is ready to be run by my husband 😂 and he is the clean and organized one in this relationship 😅
Now it’s 23 minutes in and you are on a roll and I appreciate your passion and wisdom. Yes, PUSH THROUGH is my motto most days. It’s so nice to know someone understands!! This video is over an hour… THANK YOU in advance.
Cass, love you and your channel! I’ve followed you for YEARS!!! And you just get better and funnier with every year!!!❤❤❤ Anyway, my question is about planners-I’m a recovering planner junkie😂and I have several planners for each year! Trying to just use one all year long now. Anyway, I like to look back to see when things occurred, etc., it’s kinda like a diary! Anyway, I know some of these can be discarded, especially the ones I didn’t use for long. But I don’t want to just toss them, as they have personal info in them-but who has time to tear pages out to shred them? So what do I do with the ones I want to get rid of, and then do I store rest in a large tote? Like one a year? Ack! The struggle is real!! 😅 Thanks so much and can’t wait til next weekend-our church is having a charity yard sale 5/13 so definitely a deadline to work toward!! 🎉
My husband has a work clothes basket at the foot of the bed. He grabs anything and gets dressed. We have several smaller laundry baskets throughout the house where I usually find socks on the floor. It works!
Best decision I ever made house wise is ditching the dressers. I went with cubes in my closet on your recommendation and NO MORE piles of clothing. I can take items straight from the dryer and toss them into their place. No folding! Good for panties, socks, bathing suits, bras, belts, tank tops... It's a weight off my shoulders.
Just finally having my life back after 7 years of caregiving for my 88 yr old daddy who is living with Alzheimer’s and having your videos and Matt Paxton also in the background cheering me on and yes even showing me some tough love at the time I needed to hear it, I have decluttered and organized 3/4 of my 2800 sq ft house in 3 days. I did keep some cardboard boxes because we’re going to have to have a huge yard sale to clean out my daddy’s 2 sheds and 1 of our sheds we just tore down. I also use smaller cardboard boxes to organize my socks
I am doing a winter whole house reset/ declutter extravaganza. Major Ladybug with cricket husband. He told my Mom he is afraid to sit too still because I might haul him off to the Salvation Army thrift store. I have been binge listening to your podcasts, Audible books and youtube channel this last two weeks. It is quite shocking to listen to you talk about yourself and hear only my own self/story coming out of your mouth. Especially when you said you sometimes feel embarrassed about your blessed abundent life. We work so hard for what we have and then we feel ashamed of our abundence. But I have hauled off 4 Outback loads of stuff to the Salvation Army, 5 Outback loads of just trash( including things I wouldn't even donate), and 4 boxes of good stuff to work and made a "free to good home" table, which was emptied by the end of each day. My husband has even started tossing in some of his own "crap" and tidying up his "piles" on the coffee table. I gave him a basket to put it in and he is using it. I cannot even begin to thank you for your help and encouragement.
I was a clothes dropper. My husband taught me by presenting me with photos of the piles. 😢I learned very quickly to put my things away. I was so embarassed, lol.
Dont forget those of us who are detail oriented but still have squirrel! brain lol. Speaking of, we have our toothbrushes, toothpaste and cups attached to our mirror in the bathroom which works well. Baskets on the walls for every day soaps, etc, and I use a "get ready basket" that returns to my bedroom as we have very little bathroom storage. Works beautifully
I have aides that come in twice a week for 2.5 hours. We have already done the pantry!! Ans next is the hall closet!! It's the place for you to "just find a spot and cram it in" kind of closet!!
You inspired and motivated me so much! I've completely uncluttered my home and storage in my RV. I love the clarity and simplicity of minimal living. It saves money and sanity. I have more space and can focus on what's important.
Kristin... love your Lego question! I am keeping a big bin of Legos for my future grandkids and another bin of fun toys. When i was a kid me and my sisters thought it was so cool to play with our dads old toys/board games when we visited grandma!
I love the podcast style you used! Differs from the other channels and makes it look more interesting. Makes me feel like putting my phone aside (OK, ok... I usually do that while cleaning and listening) without having to check in once in a while on certain visual parts of the video. Keep it up, girl!
32:44 this is the question I needed to hear the answer to! We have tried the no fold method for clothes and my husband loves it but I found I need them folded or hung up so I can see my shirts and find things easily. My husband just chucks tupperware into the cabinet but I need it organized and stacked, same with pots and pans. It’s so hard to open the cabinet and see everything jumbled up together! I’ll do my best to make better drop it like it’s hot bins for him 🙃
I slept on this video last night after doing my dishes (yippee!). Now this morning because I did my dishes, I could take 5 minutes and put away clean dishes to have a clean kitchen surface. Now the frig is next.
This was awesome to watch. I really needed to hear about going through paperwork ( I have procrastinated for 2 months🥴) I have paperwork on my table and in my extra bedroom that has my desk!
Im a bee working with my butterfly bf to clean, declutter, and organize my place. He drives me nuts but the needing to fix everything is helping me clear what needs to be done until its perfect for me
Visual bathrooms with no storage * three wall mounted fruit baskets with tp, toothbrush cup, brushes, sprays etc. Use it and drop it in. See through wire baskets! I don’t lose anything anymore with my husband and teen walking off to squirrels.
I'm in tears at the end of this. I think about my daughter and 11 yr old granddaughter and the 2nd guessing my mom always did with me and still does! My daughter is working hard to break the hoarding/pack-rat cycle, but I see so much of what I did raising her was the same as my mom did raising me. I get my mom's need to hold onto things as a baby boomer with 13 siblings, everything became precious. Unfortunately, now as a widow with low vision, it's now all too much. So much in this video is going to help me hopefully help her (and myself, of course)! ❤ to you Cass for all your encouragement and hilarity!
You are just 7 minutes in and 👏👏this is such a great video!!! Very helpful for me. Can I tell you I love your 30 minute time frame to know if you have too much stuff!! I can already reset my entire house in 30 minutes or less. Maybe I’m closer to being done with my decluttering!! Except for two rooms that aren’t mine to touch.). Thanks in advance for all your help and inspiration!!! BTW… loved LOVED your 2 videos you just did with Melissa!! Those were over the top fun to watch. ❤️💕
I'm mostly ladybug but I got rid of my dresser and love the extra space in my bedroom. I repurposed a vertical stacked drawers for underwear, swimsuits, etc. I also repurposed a small table with no drawers and got rid of the old nightstand. I don't miss either!
I listened to this while I was at the office and when I got home I tackled the bathroom closet I had been putting off for months! Thank you so much for teaching us what you’ve learned ❤️
I feel that way every day, with constantly taking up all my time trying to clean, but I can never catch up, and it makes my chronic pain, depression, and ADHD worse. I'd love to do one of these events, classes, or to hire someone to help, but it's so frustrating that you have to have money to really get help. I was trying to watch this to help me with motivation to keep cleaning, but I have to stop because I'm just getting more frustrated.
Regarding photos, I forget which of the 3 of you recommended but the tip to discard duplicates and photos of other people’s kids, etc, really helped me. I took 20 mins while entertaining myself with TV to reduce photos by half and gained so much storage space back!!
Wrapping up 2 weeks of whole house sickness and going into a 3rd one so I will pass on a house reset as I puke my guts out, but will be back when this is over!
So sorry this is happening! Keep a tub of disinfectant wipes in every room and try to remember to wipe the door knob, door edge where hands grab, sink handles, washer door, etc. Use the disinfecting cycle on your dishwasher. Wipe the bannister, outside door handles, anywhere you use hands. You can buy Clorox laundry sanitizer kills 99% bacteria on laundry. Give everyone a garbage bag to throw Kleenex in so no one else is touching them. Open a window very slightly to let air in for half hour or so…even if just kitchen window…put a timer on your phone. Gatorade …orange popsicles…or just ice chips. Tiny oyster crackers leave less crumbs. God bless❤
I am learning so much from you as I've been watching all the older videos as well as the new. My husband is so not like me in organizing. I threw away an important piece of mail due to him not putting it where I thought it should be. I didn't know it was important. Well, not his fault, not my fault. I have a "bill area". I asked him to put all important mail there. It won't get thrown away. It will get filed and saved. I do save the old/paid bills for a year.
If a stairway, and nothing under it, then make that into your storage for those extra big pots and pans and cookers that you don’t use all the time you would have plenty a room for shelves, and under the steps you could even make pull out drawers……. that would be a great project for a weekend.
It's so funny because I naturally don't put things away and am very detailed but following your methods I have taken my house back by grouping large categories out of sight! Hahahah
I’m a cricket. I had no idea but I’m also a procrastinator to make thing’s perfect. I’m working on areas to get the way I want but I’m also realizing that it’s ok to have not quite done. Breathing
I love your channel and have been following you since August 2022. I have decluttered a lot and still have more to go. I have followed your advice about getting everything off of the kitchen counters. I have also followed your advice about the must do things: dishes, laundry, tidy, going over the bathrooms. You have helped me so much. Thank you❤️
I am so motivated to ‘reset ‘ my house !! Thanks for motivation!! My 9 years old daughter’s room is mess 😩and I have to clean that mess!!! Hopefully I will 👍but thank you for lovely advice!
I found a cool way to declutter those dishes that you've had forever but don't use often. These are dishes that have been in the family and inherited. I give them as gifts to the younger members of our family and I include a note of how old the dish is and how it got into the family. So far everyone is loving them and cherishing them. I'm not missing them and the older I get the more I like knowing where those treasured things are. I always tell the person to keep it in the family and pass it on when you're ready.
I watched Sunday night too but couldn't comment because I was busy decluttering. (I was up 'till midnight filling up the trash bin.) I thought the question about the medical receipts was really good. One reason I have so much paper is because I had surgery a few years ago. Not only did I have to keep track of medical receipts for tax purposes, but dealing with the my high deductible insurance plan and the mountains of paper it generated was another challenge. This might be a good subject for a future video. At this point, it is taking me more than day to deal with paper clutter so I've been applying some of Dana's principles to the paper issue the same way she applies them to dishes and laundry. For example, I need a calculator to figure out my grocery store receipts so a friend suggested that I do the calculations in the store, instead of at home. I "take it there now" by doing the calculations in the store. It only takes me less than 3 minutes but I did find that they overcharged me on an item last week and resolved it that day. If I pay cash, I throw the receipt out immediately but file it away immediately and throw it out when the bill comes in if I'm using a charge card. This method is really helping me keep my receiots under control. Thanks again to you, Dawn and Dana for your advice. You keep us motivated and your tips really help.
I'm a total cricket. But because I am chronicly ill, I have adopted ladybug methods in areas that it's just too hard to keep up with., mostly because my husband is a butterfly and it'sjust not wortha fight! Him leaving his clothes on the floor would drive me nuts! They are not dirty enough for the laundry. So I reorganized his clothes. I left the bottom of his wardrobe empty and told him to dump his clothes there. I tell him the night before I do laundry, and if it's in the laundry, it gets washed if it's not then ...oh well. If he absolutely needs it and didn't put it in the laundry, then he washes it. This has been a total game changer. If he was working and forgot, I typically would try to wash it for him. But if he just didn't do it just because he is on his own. I only ever had to say no once. 😊
My make up used to be out in the open but...my children ruined my make up too many times so I’ve had to put it behind a closed cabinet door! Does look tidier.
50:31 Thank you for giving me ideas to train my husband to place dirty clothes in the laundry basket! It's an open basket, so I'll just move it closer to the bathroom door! I'll start this same week!!
Cass, how do I deal with my husband and kids who resist clean outs? There is a history of hoarding in my husband’s family and my husband and daughter resist getting rid of stuff, but my son is the worst. It’s hard because I was raised to purge every 6 months and clutter gives me anxiety.
Hi, I know you're asking Cass but I thought these 2 videos of hers might help you. Titles are " (No yelling!) MOTIVATE your family to help you" cleanm.th-cam.com/video/vsN0J9xbFzU/w-d-xo.html and one called how to get your husband to help. m.th-cam.com/video/CPaaJ_4dc7w/w-d-xo.html They helped me in the past 🙂
My understanding is hoarding may mean feeling the item is a part of yourself or your “fantasy self”, assigning the same importance to everything, assigning importance to worthless items, difficulty categorizing and sorting things, difficulty understanding how much can fit into a defined space, difficulty stacking things to make a tall pile stable, feeling overwhelmed or not enough resiliency to deal with loss of something (such as totaled car, burglary, house fire) or someone (I.e., divorce, best friend moved, messy breakup, death, miscarriage).
@@marylut6077 yes, I’m learning and he is in therapy to try to work with this issue. When we replaced a dining room table he cried for two hours like someone had died.
Keeping toys for future grandkids: imput from a parent whose inlaws did this Great with MINDFUL choices .please don't pick anything battery operated (parts break down even if you did remember to take the batteries out) movable parts (dust build up, dirt whatever):any plastic I would say is older from when we marked non bpa... we've had to hide a lot of a "kept treasures" because they're not save for our kids. But! Barbies (that was in good shape), have been okay. Anything wood is great ! And Lego is a win win lol
I look at my stuff that I don't need and I see money I see dollar signs and my husband is the same wait so we figure we'll have a yard sale and make some money back I'm all the stuff we've wasted our money on I know this is Probably not the best way to tackle cbut I feel desperate my house is way out of contmore than it's ever been in my entire life so I wanna say thank you for your help and encouragement.
cricket needs to organize foil plastic wrap trash bags not under sink perhaps somehow in deep cabinet or something on side of fridge please and thank you Cas
I’m extremely detailed. I make lists about lists! But I also have adhd. So get distracted. I am visual so need to have everything out. But I love containers to put everything in. I have containers inside containers as I like to sort things to almost microscopic levels! I have so much stuff. And millions of houseplants and craft supplies! Lost cause I think!
Im feeling so good today because I cleaned and restructured my kitchen drawer, my lingerie drawer and my kitchen is only going to need 30 mins to wash dishes and wipe.off surfaces.Never would have made it!😂thanks Cas
I tolerated my husbands messiness while my 2 children were home and each needed their own bathroom space , but as soon as they both moved out I took possession of the guest bathroom and designated it “ female only”. The 1/2 bath in the office is for males and my husband has the master suite to himself and I only go out there when it gets too dirty for me to handle it( it is still part of the house after all😏. I take his clean clothes out to the bedroom and lay them on a loveseat and there they stay. I have put clear stackable storage units in his walk in closet with labels with sizes of shorts , tshirts, sweatshirts etc ,but that isn’t used . He does at least roll up his dirty clothes and wrap them up in a towel and carry them to the laundry room after he showers👍🏻

Thank you so much Cas, I think I clicked with you from the very first video I watched, and the help I've had from these videos is immeasurable ❤
you can do this, love yourself first ❤
@@cynthiarosado8767 thank you! I'm getting there 😁
I have already been at this reset for weeks now because I have baby coming in early June and I am gonna have a c section so I wanna make sure that the house is ready to be run by my husband 😂 and he is the clean and organized one in this relationship 😅
And you just get better and funnier with every year!!!❤❤❤
Anyway, my question is about planners-I’m a recovering planner junkie😂and I have several planners for each year! 😅
Thanks so much and can’t wait til next weekend-our church is having a charity yard sale 5/13 so definitely a deadline to work toward!! 🎉
My husband has a work clothes basket at the foot of the bed. He grabs anything and gets dressed. We have several smaller laundry baskets throughout the house where I usually find socks on the floor. It works!
Hi Cass! Misty from gowanda ny. Just wanted to say, you helping me through some dark periods..i love your personality and your podcasts!
Loved this. I watched this at 0530 in the morning and re-did my pantry 😅...thank you
Keeping for grandkids? Imho, Keep it. Keep it. Keep it! If quality, basic, well-made toys, such as Fischer Price, wooden blocks, etc. (Grandma of 18)
Thanks for sharing!
I made lemon cake with lemon cream cheese frosting and blueberries...yummmmm!
It’s perfect time for me to reset my apartament, because my weekend is 5 days long ( because of national holidays here)
I am doing a winter whole house reset/ declutter extravaganza.
You have the most informative helpful live Q & A sessions!!
You nailed me with the perfectionism paralysis. 😭 Doing a reset right now!
I love this tidying reset idea. 🎉
I love your philosophy on how to declutter with your kids at the end.
This was awesome to watch. I really needed to hear about going through paperwork ( I have procrastinated for 2 months🥴) I have paperwork on my table and in my extra bedroom that has my desk!
Just wanted you to know that I really enjoy and appreciate your videos! Great advice and love your humour too!
Love your thoughts on empowering your kids!!! I’m just now learning how to let things go without guilt or shame, and it’s the BEST. Thanks!!
Regarding photos, I forget which of the 3 of you recommended but the tip to discard duplicates and photos of other people’s kids, etc, really helped me. I took 20 mins while entertaining myself with TV to reduce photos by half and gained so much storage space back!!
"It's okay not to fold." Amen!
For the rx labels that are on the pots, heat actually erases everything printed on it. So a hair dryer works wonder for that.
God bless❤
Wipes won’t do it…. The cleaner actually has to sit for a bit then you wipe it off!!!
Having "permission" to not fold my clothes is BEAUTIFUL!
Do 9 year olds not clean their own rooms? I was hoping my kids would clean their own rooms by the time they were 6 or 7. 😔
Teach them!!! And help declutter then they will be able to clean because of how easy it is!
Thank you for your work ❤
I'm new at your channel, but you're so clear and have so many ideas about decluttering the home. It's wonderful. Thank you
I didn’t realize how detailed I am. Great explanation
I watched Sunday night too but couldn't comment because I was busy decluttering. (I was up 'till midnight filling up the trash bin.)
I thought the question about the medical receipts was really good.
Perfect. I did a reset yesterday in preparation for the All Day. Except my closet...
You look amazing oh my gosh. That Red is gorgeous and you are beautiful
My husband is a butterfly and I'm a cricket now I understand why he doesn't fold and put away when it comes to doing laundry
I keep the most recent medication info sheet with my meds. When I travel or need it for some reason I take it with me.
Nail it! Girlie! Yes! I’m perfectionist, I am procrastinate I’m on Summer break from school!
Yes! I dont fold underwear anymore and i just do a fast sloppy fold for workout clothing and pj's.
I love side hustle Sundays!
My make up used to be out in the open but...my children ruined my make up too many times so I’ve had to put it behind a closed cabinet door! Does look tidier.
50:31
Thank you for giving me ideas to train my husband to place dirty clothes in the laundry basket! It's an open basket, so I'll just move it closer to the bathroom door! I'll start this same week!!
You're welcome!
Titles are " (No yelling!) MOTIVATE your family to help you" cleanm.th-cam.com/video/vsN0J9xbFzU/w-d-xo.html
and one called how to get your husband to help. m.th-cam.com/video/CPaaJ_4dc7w/w-d-xo.html
They helped me in the past 🙂
Your new haircut looks fantastic!
I'm in TYHB. Can't wait for May 6! 😺🎉
Keeping toys for future grandkids: imput from a parent whose inlaws did this
Great with MINDFUL choices
.please don't pick anything battery operated (parts break down even if you did remember to take the batteries out) movable parts (dust build up, dirt whatever):any plastic I would say is older from when we marked non bpa... we've had to hide a lot of a "kept treasures" because they're not save for our kids.
But! Barbies (that was in good shape), have been okay. Anything wood is great ! And Lego is a win win lol
Sorry to miss the all day declutter. Will be in MI for my son’s college graduation. Catch you next time
Spring cleaning is on the schedule!
This was great. You are truly a genius ❤
"Cricket your face off!! Oh my heck you're hilarious. You speak so many words of truth, but that's my favorite tonight. 😂
Every time I put a receptacle in the place my husband naturally drops things, he puts them somewhere else! 🤦🏼♀️😭
I just put extra blankets and sheets in my dresser.
I would love to be a part of your take your house back but can’t afford it
Hi from New Zealand. Love your work!
Im feeling so good today because I cleaned and restructured my kitchen drawer, my lingerie drawer and my kitchen is only going to need 30 mins to wash dishes and wipe.off surfaces.Never would have made it!😂thanks Cas
Summer/Fall is a freaking mad house around here. 😅
Thanks for the awesome tips!Big hugs 🎉
I can’t wait till next week’s all day declutter!
