    Hi Graeme,
    Thank you for taking the time to review our products.
    One of the negatives with /ZERO: Iron Oxide is due to the fact it is so concentrated and as a result incredibly powerful, it does suffer from colder temperatures sub 6 degrees where the decon surfactants will thicken. This as you found it does delay the activation of the TGA. As we discussed also, allowing the TGA to do it's work first then agitation produces better results in terms of reaction.
    As for the wheel where you didn't see much reaction, if you look at the footage closely you can see spots that look very black/purple. Again as it's a gel it doesn't run off like traditional Fallout removers so at times it looks like nothing is happening. On that wheel however it was odd it didn't react much but for wheels to be as clean as they were after the winter we had and length of time is odd also. Nevertheless as you found out the formula works fine when you tested it on different alloys.
    It is a very unique formula on the market and we are trying to push the boundaries of what is possible that is functional and fits in our process. We feel for the few negatives it has in colder climates the benefits vastly outweigh them.
    Thanks,
    GT

      Hi GT!, thanks for the explanation of the Iron Oxide, in the case of the first wheel using it it could not be left to dwell any longer than a couple of minutes anyway due to the direct sun but any other fallout remover would struggle more as Iron Oxide has a much better chance of staying liquid longer as you said because of the Zero Decon shampoo in it. I wasn’t criticising the product, I apologise if it came across in this way, it was not intentional at all.
      I love how you interact with my videos and show support where needed if I’ve got it wrong. You know I always message you first before making comments but sometimes things can be missed.
      Next video I use the interior cleaner and a brilliant leather cleaner, I haven’t done many interior videos and this one looks good with so many interesting angles for the camera 😁

      Thanks Heather!, I don’t think it’s been cleaned all winter, never seen such a build up of salt. Could really have benefitted from a polish but the owner doesn’t want to due to what the car goes through at work!, can’t get my head around why the wheels are as clean as they are tho 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

    Fantastic video Graeme, absolutely loved it, informative, entertaining and very well edited. Stu Preston's music making a great video even better as always too! Great range of products, hard to fault although I've also fallen victim to using Iron Oxide in cooler conditions and had similar issues - definitely user error in storing it improperly on my part!

    Hi there my GT experience is improving as I layer the serum on the tyres they look better and better. I used the Decon shampoo for the 1st time last week as a snow foam then a contact wash. The 1st hit was ok but then the contact wash stripped most of the wax. Very impressed. There was a review on you tube recently of ONR using it as a pre rinse 1 part to 256 as a pre rinse before the power wash pre rinse as they thought that if you push mud or trafic film around by power washer it may scratch. I wondered about your thoughts. I have not tried it myself. I use Auto Finesse either Citrus Power or Dynamite TFR topped with Angelwax Cleanliness as a pre snow foam and it cleans really well.

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could go mad with endless people telling you this pre pre prewash needs done , my thoughts are the loose dirt a pre rinse takes away is only surface retained, as it is rinsed away the layer of traffic film underneath it should protect the clear coat from any scratches but surely even minimal at best , but I’d still rather have a soak first than straight on with a sponge 😬
      Yep, I agree Angelwax Cleanliness and Fast Foam as a combo are superb, not tried much auto finesse to be honest

    Off to a good start, can’t wait to see the next part!
    That wheel was strange not to react much maybe wheel shampoo just done a great job first, I’ve also been spreading iron oxide just after applying and leaving to dwell as it’s so thick it’s hard to get full coverage from just spraying and it seems to well.

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Nick!, I think One Wheel Shampoo is maybe better than we know!!, as I tried it on a dirty wheel and there was specks of fallout lighting up but nothing from the ‘clean’ wheel, I’ve also tried diluting iron oxide 1-1 in a spray but you’d get the same reaction from spraying a foam on top of it without using as much if you know what I mean

  • @deanbennett5343
    @deanbennett5343 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Great review Graeme, I'm using mostly GT products at the moment. With the iron oxide I did feel you use alot as it's thicker I did my i30N and used 95% of the bottle to ensure an even coverage. It does do a very good job and the slickness is incredible. I only use one wheel shampoo to clean my wheels nothing any stronger needed.

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Dean, yeah incredible products but 95% on a single car?, wow that’s expensive 😅
      I get what you mean , in the video it’s a real struggle for the trigger to spray any and return the trigger back and being thicker was patchy , again more possibly due to colder storage , the morning of this detail there was ice on my car so below 6*c as Maz said in his comment was just below it’s preferred operating temperature but it needed done so I had to use it!
      The wheel shampoo is amazing have you tried the car shampoo?

      @@GMDetails when I used it it wasn't that cold, maybe a wider fan on a different spray head would be better. One shampoo is very good the only things I haven't tried are the interior and glass cleaner.I have also found the chenille wash mitts don't feel as slick on the paintwork as the microfibre ones.
