🤔 Word to the wise...when installing the range shift selector seal onto the shaft, remove all the rust first ! Then apply som atf around the shaft ...it will slide nicely down the shaft an into it's spot ! ( the rust on the shaft can cut the inner sealing edge off the seal an cause a leak ! )...👍
Very nice i have watched lot of vidoes on transmission. the valve body explanation with respect to spool valve is exceptional. You have also got good communication skill. Thanks so much. keep doing.. can u pls advise where did u get all rebuild kits for complete job. is it TRANSGO..
When i build valve bodies i like to put the valve in the bore without the spring and shake the valve body side to side to see if the valve moves freely on its own weight
So I removed all of the valves (except for a silver one that wouldn't come out even with the clip removed) to get washed. But when I got them back I found I deleted the video and photos I had that I was going to use to put it all back together. Is there a diagram somewhere that explains where which valves go and where the clips are located? I think I can get them back together without one because they only fit into one hole, but some valves have multiple parts that go in a specific order and some valves have clips that separate different parts.
Also it looks like the check ball was installed incorrectly. The instructions call to install a ball in the location UNDER c if you have a 42RLE. and it says to install a ball into C only if you have a thermal plate, which the transmission in this video did not have.
P1776 solenoid switch valve latch in LR position. This is common in this type of transmission. It would be great if that was explained here. What happened to it and how to fix it.
I'm hoping you can help me. I'm getting codes P0714 and P0218. Where exactly is the transmission temperature sensor for the 42rle and what is the part number ??
