100 + Picture Mclaren P1 Concept Supercar Best 2018
The 2013 McLaren P1 supercar has broken cover more than a week before its scheduled appearance at the Paris Auto Show on September 27. The good news? The agonizing wait to see what the British supercar company had in store is finally over. Now all we need are the details, such as what's going to power this 2- (or possibly 3-) passenger exotic once production begins next year. McLaren has shown three images of the car, which is finished in a deep orange paint and contrasting black exposed carbon fiber.

Massive air intakes and boomerang-shaped headlights dominate the front of the P1. The sides of the new McLaren are interrupted by large swaths of exposed carbon fiber that appear to incorporate ducting for the mid-mounted engine, and possibly the rear brakes. On the roof is another air intake, one that pays homage to the 3-passenger McLaren F1 of the 1990s. The organically shaped rear of the P1 includes a massive diffuser, central exhaust exit, and wild LED taillights that wrap around black mesh grilles.
The Most Rewarding Supercar to Drive
Until the arrival of the Bugatti Veyron, the BMW V-12-powered McLaren F1 held the title of `world's fastest production car' with its top speed of 240 mph. Many wondered whether McLaren would be gunning for the Bugatti with this successor to the F1. Based on the press release accompanying these photos, it seems the quad-turbo V-16 Veyron is set to remain at the top of the top-speed heap. Like the Bugatti, however, the P1 is expected to carry a price tag well in excess of $1 million.
