Not that I'm some sort of expert, every single one of these people are turning too early before the wing is flying. Almost no checks of brakes to stop the wing overshooting.
The switching toggles technique, because nothing's better than juggling with your brakes at take-off. If I ever see an instructor teaching this I'd kung-fu chop his throat and instantly save a life.
I would say its kinda easy, haven't tried it but i do kitesurf so i know how the turning works and stuff like that, the amount of failed launches in this video seems like none of them know what they were doing, from not launching into the wind to applying the brakes too hard and even not applying the brakes enough
It's most likely a turbulent area. It is probably a bad spot to have a launching area at all because a lot of this looks like it is caused by rotor turbulence to me.
A lot of these people should never fly alone in this skill level, they should be at the school training basics stuff, I could see many of them didn't fix simple issues like the rock of the wing. People must have in mind the most dangerous moment in this sport is when close to the ground, specially on the take of.
Why, why do they do that? Why do people rush like crazy when they couldn't even hold their glider over their heads. And you can clearly see that there's something wrong by how others start off.
These guys need to practice ground handling instead of trying to takeoff. They visibly don't kno what they're doing. Nothing wrong to it if you acknowledge and seek advice and training.
No wonder most of these people are messing up their takeoffs. Watch them yank their brake lines. Taking off in these conditions, they should be 'hands up' until the wing is flying, not them though.. throwing caution to the wind.. literally
@@Nicholas-ob5eh Knees not bent, tips unequal height above the ground, turn and hesitate, late or no forward pressure, sitting on or braking the dead side - all bad mistakes. Bend knees. Keep both tips the same height above the ground by running laterally in a (forward) horseshoe shape. After pullup, turn and go forward early and simultaneously, keeping forward pressure. Lean on and brake the good side allows the deflated side to inflate, and lots lots more.
@@Nicholas-ob5eh Lots of beginner mistakes can be seen. Pilots not braking their wing enough to prevent frontal, not walking towads the center of their wing, or launching with way too much brake held, some pilots don't even seem to be aware they're holding brake on one side and just hold their hands too far from the pulleys. And perhaps worst of all, people turning forward to launch the moment the wing comes up without actually waiting until it is fully overhead. And of course there's always that one pilot turning the wrong way and ending up with risers twisted.
No when the wing suddenly collapse on one side on takeoff like you see in a lot of the cases here it is not pilot error but a sudden wind gust from the side caused by turbulence. The problem is most likely the takeoff area it self, it is probably a rotor hotspot in this wind direction.
1. Zadnej publicznosci z tylu na starcie. To niebezpieczne dla obu stron. 2. Brakuje drugiej osoby do poprawienia skrzydla a warunki sa takie sobie, plus duza czestotliwosc startow. 3. Start odwrocony nie jest latwy 4. Brak kolejki startu-kazdy na kazdym i placze sie w sprzety innych-zupelny brak organizacji, duze ryzyko wypadkow. 5. Nie doswiadczeni piloci - widac podczas startow. SLowem masakra a nie cyrk.
So many beginners errors, why people are so hurry to take off? even sitting into the sit... others run without looking around for other people taking off. In this video it's more a 85%human error and 15 from the turbulence. Sad to give licence so easily.
some pretty funny pilot errors. but also the air looks insane at this launch site / time of day. looks like mid day. and very thermic.
Looks like most wings are hit with a right-side crosswind almost immediately after launch.
This looks like a circus, I would have given up on flying on such a day just to enjoy watching these take offs.
So much incompetence in one video. I really hope that there will be one for 2021! Otherwise I have to rewatch these old ones again :-)
😁 Before attemping to takeoff, some of them need more hour for ground handling
Agree, im just started paragliding . Student level:) And I see some pro still on my level :D
Not that I'm some sort of expert, every single one of these people are turning too early before the wing is flying. Almost no checks of brakes to stop the wing overshooting.
Hahaha Oh nooooo! These are hilarious! Wow. It's been said, but so little brake checking, so much early turning and running. :P
The switching toggles technique, because nothing's better than juggling with your brakes at take-off. If I ever see an instructor teaching this I'd kung-fu chop his throat and instantly save a life.
i dont think most of these guys ever saw an instructor
Just think there all going to be in the air together.
that was a freaking ROTOR area, if I reckon correctly, lots of canopys turning around insanely even in the ground.
So good! 🤣🤣 Thanks for sharing! Cheers!
look like a normal day in kössen 😂😂😂
Deswegen so viele Piloten hatten schwierigkeiten beim Start.
Flying wings way beyond skill level.

Some of these look nasty. But for the funny ones, the birds in the trees must be nearly pissing themselves laughing!!!
where is it? I would like to watch this for whole day, haha!
Kossen, Austria
Kisses in Austria. Great flying site. Flown there a lot ... With hangglider though. No problems with collapse 😂
where is,t this location, wanna try too
Good glider, bad hands.. jjejeje
We all learn by mistakes..
i saw a question mark on thumbnail.
Bloody dangerous launch site.
Monty Python Flying Circus...
That guy in the green (nova)? at 0:26.. if he flies like he takes off, he should not be in the air. doesn't even check or feel the glider at all.
Quite right but It's not a guy, it's a female.
That's the fun part of a Testival: People who did not groundhandle for even an hour try EN-C wings.
Somebody needs to fire the PG instructor in this town -
You're right!!
Machen die das absichtlich ?
Ce décollage est il toujours aussi turbulent ????
Que lindo lugar!! Donde es? Who is that? Wo ist das?
This is Kössen, Austria ;-)

Is this normal for PG? That many people that cannot control the wing. Gh school!
Which price a parachute
About 3000€
Harika bir yermiş bayıldım..Sadece seyretmeye gidebilirim...:))
I wouldn't want to fly among the dorks in the crowd.
That's a lot of paragliders
They did well to stay out of the chair lift cables
Why, why do they do that? Why do people rush like crazy when they couldn't even hold their glider over their heads. And you can clearly see that there's something wrong by how others start off.
someone knows where it is ??

Gibts bald einen 2018er Part? ;)
sehr sehr bald sogar... ;-)
Juhuuuu ;)
2019?😉😁
These guys need to practice ground handling instead of trying to takeoff. They visibly don't kno what they're doing. Nothing wrong to it if you acknowledge and seek advice and training.
tell me this are payed actors :P
No, it's not impossible to start the Mentor 4...
The amount of pilots hooked into pod racing harnesses who can't launch. All the gear and no idea.
yep - 100% true

The same mistakes on and on. I feel like there is a weird school that teaches this mistakes.
what is the mistake?
The mistake is the botched takeoff . They don’t lean forward enough.

this was so funny, i nearly shit myself
These takeoffs are so horrible... and it's mostly pilot error. Conditions are not perfect, but far from being the reason for such bad piloting.
Ohhh...shure you are another fat champion

the guy at 3:56 clearly has no idea what to do. i suggest some hundred hours of groundhandling...
Or a couple of days.... I reckon a 100 is slightly unnecessary just to learn to launch 😅
that's some funny stuff .
No judgement of the beginners in this video.
But some of the guys here fly pod harnesses and b to c wings and do not seem to be capable at all..

Hakuna matatta, not a flyable day 🌬
Go to school... takeoff with side wind. everyone straight ahead...
Haven't these clowns heard of ground handling? 🙄
And the Darwin Award goes to ....
y 'a du niveau en Autriche !!!
Why would anyone want to fly at a place with this much traffic? As a beginner (among these beginners) I would just say no.
So many beginners errors, why people are so hurry to take off? even sitting into the sit... others run without looking around for other people taking off. In this video it's more a 85%human error and 15 from the turbulence. Sad to give licence so easily.
The video was good
But the music wasn't good
Plzzz help
very dirty air - do not fly. go have a beer instead.
😂😂😂😂
this is how people die
wtf is going on there :D
Que porquería de lugar
LOL
🤔😉
peinlicher gehts nimmer...😳
Music sucks as always...
