  • Today, I wanna show you how I made the cover for my fluffy Halloween grunge journal. I've created this journal for the Tim Holtz idea-ology Halloween 2023 release. I'll guide you through each step of my creative process, even though it might seem a bit chaotic... but that's exactly how we learn, grow and get out of our comfort zones, right? I hope my ideas inspire you to create your own spooky Halloween journal covers! Enjoy!

It’s wonderful to peer inside the mind of Luise while she’s creating and problem-solving! Saw this on the Live and yes-Tim loved it! You’re educating and entertaining us. And I very much appreciate your humor and creativity!

  • @margaretcomella3318

As a great lady once said, "Holy crap!" This was SO much fun!!😄❤️

  • @doreencogar8451

There are not adequate words to describe your creative genius!

  • @roxiebaker1158

It's fascinating to watch you work. You tackled the destruction of that top right corner with such confidence!!

  • @susangrumman9187

It's unbelievable it's sooo cool! And ... I totally get that we should make things that WE like! But, making this for Tim to see/use is on a whole other level. Fortunately, YOU are up to the task! I love it ... and I'm in awe!!! Thank you for sharing ... I can't imagine making a video of this process and then trying to edit it down... just ... WOW! When I'm really into a project I'm doing I call it being "in the zone" ... or ... "in the flow"! It's a really wonderful place to be! Blessings!!!

There are no words to describe how amazing this cover is! Wow just wow! ❤

  • @DeniseS-6867

I enjoyed so much seeing how this fabulous cover was created🩷

  • @toniscott1029

This has got to be one of the most incredible journals I've ever seen!!! Just WOW 😲

  • @denisebrown4933

It is so generous of you to share your process, Luisa. I am inspired by your deconstruction of the Ideaology pieces, like the burning of the butterfly wings, and. I love the sliding door with its spoon handle. But my favorite part was when how you peeled the corner of the book and added the bones. Yes, the overworking happens to me too, and it takes courage sometimes to keep going ahead! I'm glad you did!

  • @juliedent4221

Absolutely one of the most creative things I’ve ever seen! You are brilliant! 🩵

  • @leslierogan9637

  • @tamibarnes78

So amazing! You are a very unique creative person and I love it!

  • @mariastarr10

Yes! It is an education and I love hearing how all those fabulous details came about! Cannot wait for the next one! Thanks, Luise!

  • @hubbysswee

When I create, I go through 7 iterations of design before I’m happy with my work. At least that’s what my hubby claims. I don’t believe him…than when it’s completed I look at the whole process and realize…he’s right! Luise, it will often take me 3 hours just to complete 1 element to be used on a canvas or page! That being said, thank you for sharing your process without editing out the frustration, I feel normal now! By the way, I’ve been a subscriber from way back! It’s been wonderful watching you grow before our very eyes!
