Treat it as lonely married or single women just want platonic friends (basically see and talk to people as friends) than just living alone in the house everyday. Women are social people. Why people or foreigners think it's cheap or feel embarrassed when they are just visiting music club, singing and talking to pay friends.
I would feel weird if 4 or more guys , who I do not know , would sit next to me , bring me Drinks and make complimens . I don't know how to relax in that situation .
I'd enjoy it personally. No guys that fancy or attractive would ever give me any attention or the time of day in a normal social situation. So this would be a welcome haven for me to enjoy such pleasures.
Look, I would feel the same. But, there's a difference in all of this, and I think it's the limit about how far will you and they go. I would like to be with 4 guys like them, you pay and they will respect what you say and order. But with 4 guys that doesn't know TF are from and know their limits, could be scary af. Maybe I am not explaining right, but I almost feel these are the difference. And yes, I found those guys attractive and would pay for their just for fun, dunno.
Japan is great and I saw a lot of Host clubs but never had the urge to go to one cause it feels weird knowing that you are paying someone to be kind and be your friend for a few hours...
Wow, I didn't know anything about host clubs until i visited one last year in germany at a convention called dokomi. Things are a bit different here but still i'm exited because this year i'm gonna work as a new host at the sweet spice host club. I don't really know what awaits me in a couple months but i'll do my best. Need to watch ouran host club and prepare myself haha.
Very very interesting how, upon closer examination, a country that appears to be a racially homogeneous monoculture reveals itself to be extremely rich in the diversity of its subcultures. It is absolutely amazing. Japan Rocks!
I think that assumption of appearance is indeed purely caused by “race” and nothing. It's fairly obvious that at least Tokyo and other major cities have many thriving subcultures simply by the diverse set of fashion styles alone.
There needs to be a non-alcoholic version somewhere. Cuz I'm over 21 but I hate drinking. So as much as I'd probably love it, you'd never find me there.
THAT IS MY PROB TOO XD haha I dont drink, but I wanna try~~ well, we got charged more if we get the host companions drinks T__T so.. I guess we should go there with friends to chug all the alcohol xD
I'd like to go to one, just for the experience and to see what it's like. The problem is that I speak no Japanese at all, do they speak any English? Does anyone know?
I don't really think they speak English that well, and I THINK that foreigners aren't really allowed to be hosts(?), so it might be difficult to find a fluent speaker. But for the sake of entertaining their customers I think they will try to understand you and make themselves understood (and then it's a matter of how well they speak and understand English individually)~ Although learning some basic Japanese would probably help you out a lot! :)
Danni Boswell No no, I didn't mean that either xD Sorry, I wrote it kind of weird. I meant if there are any foreign hosts that could take care of foreign customers, but I don't think there are that many if there are any at all. But yeah! I think the Japanese hosts will try their best with whatever English they know to understand you. :)
Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding! I suppose they wouldn't take foreign hosts, but I do think it could help them receive a wider range of customers, thus being beneficial. Oh well, I'll just rewatch the Host Club anime, ahah :)
I think that on one hand it's a very good idea, they're happy cause they're getting payed (and not a small amount either) and your happy because you get to spend time just conversing with beautiful young men. Also, I like Japan is a very polite country; they compliment you an you just talk and drink (though I've heard that some women do offer them extra money to sleep with them after working hours). The problem is that entry is cheap but the drinks are massively expensive, they will do everythi
Limerence Around 6,000-8,000 yen for two hours for only the basic. You have other options, but they can get very pricey as well as the drinks you'll have to order. (Based on a personal experience.) By the way, not every host club has a first-time price.
That looked terrifying. I would probably be too shy or scared to speak. Honestly, the idea seems odd. Especially going there alone... I could sort of understand if it was a "Girls' night out" or whatever, but just going because you're bored is strange...
I am planning to visit Tokyo by myself soon, and wanted to go to a host club among other places.. but thinking about going alone and seeing someone actually go alone - makes me terrified now lol
i also want to go to a host club... because of the mangas i read... anyways, one day i'll definitely go to a host club in japan... i will put it in "my need to visit when i go to Japan"... such a wonderful country... this helped me a lot...
I'd like to visit a host club if I ever go Tokyo but now I see that if I do go, it'll have to be in a group & when it's a lot busier. I can't stand when I'm the center of attention, and the nervousness gets even worse when there are guys involved...
hahahahhaha their hair! Idk how women or anyone thinks that's fashionable or sexy! It's a bit too much, but I suppose to that's the point? Not judging. I personally just find it hilarious. I've always been curious about host clubs.
+nutella871 i'm a woman and i don't find that fashionable or sexy xD EKWDJVKDWJ i think slick hair back is a sexy and fashionable hair. yep, that's a good example.
ghost i'm watching it because i'm a fan of host club cafes tho xD KWDSJVKK not because i want tips on what hair is the best for guys :c the original comment said he-she didn't know how they think it's sexy, and i simply disagreed. it's still a good video and the place still seems awesome, hence why i'm here watching it ;_;
how can these women find these chicken wings guys attractive??? they looks like women and they spends more time fixing their hair then a women does. stupid girls spends money and do stupid things like this. same with stupid man. where you can find stupidness there's always someone making money from it. human stupidity is endless
Wow, I would love to go to the cafe's your going to! They seem so cheap! 1000 yen is roughly estimated to 10$ if I saw cafe like this in america, I would think it would be more like 30$ or even 50$.
Well, it's only for first-time customers and it's not every host club having that has this. Usually, it's more around 6,000-8,000 yen for 2 hours (for the basic) so around maybe around $50-70? (Based on a personal experience.) You also have other options (more expensive of course) and the drinks can get pretty expensive.
the....hair....
Fabulous~
Sasaki Haise
It looks like pineapple lol
They always have the same hairstyle it disturbs me if south Korea would be a host club Korea would be the most riches country in the world

I think I would die of embarrassment in a host club like this LOL
Ikr I'm getting second hand embarrassment from their hair😭😭
@Maimoona Hakeem best comment so far!!! lol
Treat it as lonely married or single women just want platonic friends (basically see and talk to people as friends) than just living alone in the house everyday. Women are social people. I'd enjoy it personally. No guys that fancy or attractive would ever give me any attention or the time of day in a normal social situation. So this would be a welcome haven for me to enjoy such pleasures.

Maybe I am not explaining right, but I almost feel these are the difference.
And yes, I found those guys attractive and would pay for their just for fun, dunno.
I would just keep remembering that they act like this to everyone who walks in, that's their job. They don't love you at all.
***** I'd still like it there though XD
***** well thats obvious and they said themself "its a dreamland where you ascape from your daily stress" its a nice idea even if its made up ^v^
Yeah that's the one thing. If I go on a date with someone I want the feeling to be genuine. Not because their being paid
Lmao "they don't love you at all"
K
Japan is great and I saw a lot of Host clubs but never had the urge to go to one cause it feels weird knowing that you are paying someone to be kind and be your friend for a few hours...

Need to watch ouran host club and prepare myself haha.
RIGHT HERE!!
Why they all look like they're in a punk band?
Very very interesting how, upon closer examination, a country that appears to be a racially homogeneous monoculture reveals itself to be extremely rich in the diversity of its subcultures. It is absolutely amazing. Japan Rocks!
I think that assumption of appearance is indeed purely caused by “race” and nothing.
It's fairly obvious that at least Tokyo and other major cities have many thriving subcultures simply by the diverse set of fashion styles alone.
For every western music subculture there is two japanese music subcultures
well i gotta say she picked the dude at the end that i would have picked too
everyone would have picked him lol
There needs to be a non-alcoholic version somewhere. Cuz I'm over 21 but I hate drinking. So as much as I'd probably love it, you'd never find me there.
THAT IS MY PROB TOO XD haha
I dont drink, but I wanna try~~ well, we got charged more if we get the host companions drinks T__T
so.. I guess we should go there with friends to chug all the alcohol xD
So like you can go and just tell them that you don't drink but will buy a bottle for the hosts to drink!! ( they make their income from alcohol sales)
You know you can drink sodas and water at a bar lmao guess you didn't think of that. Lmao who knee alcohol was a mandatory at a bar lmao
All i have to say is:
*Their hair is god damn majestic oh my GOD.*
Oh no, I didn't want to be a host. Just to visit one, ahaha. But thank you very much for the information! :)
Danni Boswell No no, I didn't mean that either xD Sorry, I wrote it kind of weird. I meant if there are any foreign hosts that could take care of foreign customers, but I don't think there are that many if there are any at all. But yeah! Hahah, right! Much less expensive to watch anime than to pay for drinks and company too ;)
A legend has it that Kazuma Kiryu has worked here once.
“ your names are so cool ”
” they are not real names ”
I'm crying
I'm obsessed to learn more about this lifestyle.
The legendary hair....
The Guy who welcomed her... He is so gorgeous. I will just dress as a guy like in hana kimi so that i will get close to him haha
LOL In the end, she picked the one who flattered her!
So fascinating the change in men since WWII in Japan
Why can't America have host clubs?!? Lol
Because Americans wouldn't keep their hands to themselves.
does this mean they have hostess clubs in America?
Arlene Julissa American have male strip club
They do they are called bikini bars and hooters and the male version of hooters
They have male escorts
if only they cosplayed as jpop or like kpop stars....then MAYBE I would go... XD
Same!!! It I could go to a host club that had dudes who looked like BTS, I'd be over the moon. Lmao!
wow. i thought it would be more like a flirty host club like the anime one.

Yuki Kuran i would actually want to be one and see how it's like

i wonder if there is one more like Ouran High school Host Club
I think that on one hand it's a very good idea, they're happy cause they're getting payed (and not a small amount either) and your happy because you get to spend time just conversing with beautiful young men. Also, I like Japan is a very polite country; they compliment you an you just talk and drink (though I've heard that some women do offer them extra money to sleep with them after working hours). i think the one that most good looking is the guy that sent her off and others is not too good looking
I want to go but I wonder if it would be too ackward not knowing japanese
Their voices (doki doki) and the atmosphere *KYAAAAA!~ *faint*
It's 2018 and I'm still wondering why host clubs dont exist in my country wtf
If its a 1000 yen for the first visit, how much is it for other visits?
Limerence Around 6,000-8,000 yen for two hours for only the basic. You have other options, but they can get very pricey as well as the drinks you'll have to order. (Based on a personal experience.) By the way, not every host club has a first-time price.

That looked terrifying. I would probably be too shy or scared to speak. Honestly, the idea seems odd. Especially going there alone... I could sort of understand if it was a "Girls' night out" or whatever, but just going because you're bored is strange...
I would just giggle all the time.....
I am planning to visit Tokyo by myself soon, and wanted to go to a host club among other places.. but thinking about going alone and seeing someone actually go alone - makes me terrified now lol
The one with the hair hanging over one eye is sooo CUTE!
Which documentary?!?
El video es de hace 11 años. En esos tiempos estaba de moda el cabello asi, en Japon obvio.
I wonder if something like this would ever catch on in the UK?
hmm same here but I suppose the things is if you go back enough you become so familiar and almost more friend like...idk
I remember watching this vid a long time ago and I remember it was so soothing and now I realized this is what they call ASMR .....
OMG I can't get over their hair XD So amazing lol
How old do you have to be to get into one of these?
The cringe
YES 😂
"you look so cute with a smile"
I'm on to you pal...
My dream come true... Real Host Club! I'm so happy!
What did they do at night?

Was there anyone else there? It looked like you were the only one! Or do you get your own room?

Hair Pomade business must be rocking in Japan
Do you have to be 18?
you have to be 20+
Okay, thank you!
Oh! These hosts have an engaging aura. Great job!
How old must you be to enter?
+kalliskivike normally 20 as that's the drinking age in japan
This is a nice host club. I've been watching a few other videos and those clubs were dives and the hosts not well out together.
Every country should have host clubs, it would be one of the most booming industry in the future. Any thoughts?
Cannot be three of them?
i also want to go to a host club... because of the mangas i read... anyways, one day i'll definitely go to a host club in japan... i will put it in "my need to visit when i go to Japan"... such a wonderful country... this helped me a lot...
Have you had a chance to go to Japan yet?
Still its nice to be able to talk to someone, I wouldn't feel awkward at all
what i thought as soon as i saw the title: KISS KISS FALL IN LOVE!
Lucky...
They need to make a Ouran host club
I'd like to visit a host club if I ever go Tokyo but now I see that if I do go, it'll have to be in a group & when it's a lot busier.
I can't stand when I'm the center of attention, and the nervousness gets even worse when there are guys involved...
looks comfy and not sketchy at all
This is nothing like Ouran High School :/
You don't say...
That's because they're _in fucking highschool._
*_in an anime._*
IMO - I wish there were clubs like that in the states for women.
i came here cuz david so mentioned a host club in his japan vlog
hahahahhaha their hair! Idk how women or anyone thinks that's fashionable or sexy! It's a bit too much, but I suppose to that's the point? Not judging. I personally just find it hilarious. I've always been curious about host clubs.

stupid girls spends money and do stupid things like this. same with stupid man.
where you can find stupidness there's
always someone making money from it. human stupidity is endless
JOHN JUPITER, well, it's their money so let them spend it the way they want. They can spend their money in whatever stupid thing they want.
The hair was a trend which hopefully is dead by now (video is old).
I expected Tamaki to show up for some reason xD
Beautiful boys OML 💮
Ouran High School Host Club made me come here lol
LOL what if you don’t pick any of them and just walk out, is that allowed.
the place looks cool, specially those shoe shaped drinks, I'd go to one.
2 hour free drinks for 1000 yen???
that's dirty cheap!
Wow, I would love to go to the cafe's your going to! They seem so cheap! 1000 yen is roughly estimated to 10$ if I saw cafe like this in america, I would think it would be more like 30$ or even 50$.

So you pay 1000yen for a compliment,a drink,pick 1 guy,bad cosplay,then leave?
no she fucked with him in the end.and yes,she can't show this in the video XD it is true ,really.
@@rokurokubi9949 no
They chat and have date as well
I'd be her host for free. she's pretty
Tsas Tsas Oh, c'est mignon :3
I need their help... They're very sweet. How long does a broken heart take to mend? It's so sad I don't live in Japan.
They should hire visual kei bands to the club, work there
I don't care if it's not real. 行きたい!
Why do all of them have David Bowie hair style.
I'm going in two months I wanted to go is there anyone I can speak English?
I'm assuming over 20, since thats the legal drinking age in japan.
Could be wrong though :)
Again, why am I not here?! 😍
because you are broke ?
OMFG THEY'RE REAL
tbh id feel alot more relaxed if it was crowded but if we were alone like that id feel awkward af
i want to go there
i agree, but most people just don't care, i guess.
