  • Used my heatgun a lot. Shots near the end, I had my optic zeroed so the bb would drop onto the target, if I zeroed it further out, I'd set more hop and the bb would float farther too.

Compiling questions! About my build or anything airsoft. I'll answer a bunch when I do the final vid in the project. Ask away!

So you did end up using the 19 teeth right? Im planning on using 13:1 - 19z
Also what did you do to correct the poor accuracy, and very nice content 👌

I urgently need the 3D file for the charging handle from the video, where can I find it?

dang nice build. Do you by any chance remember how far the target was when you were shooting? I feel like my polarstar isn't the most consistent but I could be second guessing myself: just wanna compare.

for under $600, what would you recommend for a sr25 platinum build that can swap between 1.5-2.8 joule if need be? planning an open play battle rifle/milsim legal DMR, ideally with just the swap of a spring. semi only, of course. I'm thinking $300 base gun, $50ish for mags, $100-150 for a CNC gearbox? priorities are trigger response, reliability, accuracy, and durability.
any tips and quirks of the platform would be sweet, and parts compatibility that you've experienced would be nice too. details are the difference
love your videos by the way, I've learned a lot from you

Sorry, did not have time yet to see the video from beginning to end, but the SR25 subject is too compelling to me as not to ask this question right away: how can I change my Classic Army SR25 into single-shot only? Of course, I could alter the fire-select switch to block a full turn, but I was thinking of changing the gearbox interior in order to accomplish this. Flipping the fire-select switches is not the way in this case.
As an auto-fire SR25, it is not allowed as a DMR at our skirm-fields here in the Netherlands. So, what's the approach to get rid of the auto?

Get rid off that crappy hop up unit, its trash and its ruining your performance. Put a crane stock and a 3 module lipo, it will be way more than enough, you are running a toy, not a truck its 2023 not 1995 when massive nimh batteries were needed and people had to use their imagination to carry those bricks.
Great dedication and effort put into that build mate, well done.

i chose this 3s 11.1v for the capacity and resistance to voltage sag! Plan was to be able to run the same battery over days of play
