Thanks for the video. I'm getting ready to spring my CRF and I've been nervous about it. I'm way to heavy for the stock spring, so it causes the back to ride so low that the fork angle is extreme and my bike doesn't corner for shit. I'm told that the correct spring for my weight will make all the difference in the world. 👍
Bro you can do that with the shock still on the bike without taking your bike completely apart. Just take the wheel off undo the bottom linkage grab a tie down rap it around rear fender use it to pull the swing arm up and you have access to the lower part of the shock. Loosen the collers grab a bunngie cord to hold the spring up and you can get to the c clip and the sprig will drop out. It's a whole lot better! 👍🏾
I wish I found this video earlier so I didn’t get ripped off at the shop for a rear spring change. $80 just to change the rear spring and I brought them the shock off the bike too 😐 I appreciate you for making this video man saves me money for the next time I change it also is that a 2018 crf ?
I didn’t do anything with the front because it only needed to be stiffened a little but the back needed to go a lot. It rides SOOO much better now. Takes the hard hits way better and I honestly have a lot more confidence in the bike now.

Glad I could help! And yes the right spring rate is a whole new world! You won’t know how to act😎 probably the best thing you could do to any bike.

Hey no problem man!👊🏼 glad I could help! Wish it was sooner too tho. My bike is a 2019. Pretty much the same thing tho
Great video. Did you fo anything with the front forks to better accommodate you? How's the bike now with the new spring?
