May your Higher Power continue to rest your grandparents' souls and remain with you, your family, and friends. On this day, I'm remembering my maternal grandmother who passed eighteen years ago.
Your visit to your Grandparents resting place touched me. My Grandmother passed away yesterday, and we will have her funeral Tuesday. I love and watch all your videos. This video was very comforting for me. Thank You.
Such a beautiful resting place for Bela Lugosi! Glad to see people still honor him for his work and leave flowers and gifts. Thanks for showing this! It's great for those of us who may never get the opportunity to visit these places and pay tribute! Also I'm so excited to have found this community where other younger people enjoy the classics!!
@@ricknineg to me it was sad to find out how many of the very famous actors from that era really were not paid like actors are today and lived and died with much hardship in their lives. As a child I like I’m sure many believed all these famous actors were rich celebrities and that was absolutely not the case
This series you've been doing has been so enjoyable and it is so much appreciated, my friend. Love and respect for your grandparents. Blessings - Judith 🎭🎵🍁
Dear Rick, every time I look at one of your videos I think you are just the nicest guy. I liked this very much and I loved that you showed where your Grandparents are, very sweet. I greatly like all the information you’ve given about I love Lucy. I think it’s fascinating that the I love Lucy shows are still loved today just as they were 60 plus years ago, they are like an old friend. I also find Desi Arnaz so interesting and not given his due because Lucy got the attention yet that show would never have worked without the 4 main characters. It’s nice that you’ve shown so much. I also love the videos on The Munsters, great show and still funny. Thanks again for what you do and all the research. God bless you. Jennifer
Such a beautiful place to visit. Thank you for sharing. That grotto is very nice. Much respect to your family. Mr. Lugosi had his issues but he made a mark as a good actor in the films that he did.
Great shirt! I have the same shirt myself! Everyone needs to get one. 😎 Great video and awesome tributing your grandparents the way you did. You’re definitely a class act!
What a great way to end this series of Universal Monster Movie videos. This was great and I would love to see something like this again in the future. Keep up the great work Rick, have a great day and Happy Halloween!
Thank you so much Jared. I could say that this has been the most successful series today. I have so many more ideas and I’m happy that you were continuing the journey with us. All the best. The best is yet to come
Hey Rick, what a nice way to end the Nine G Monster Series with a field trip!! I always enjoy your location videos & it was very nice to see Bela Lagosi's final resting place!! It's also nice that you included a visit to your Grandparents graves, may they rest In peace!!! 🙏 Happy Halloween to you & your family & to the Nine G family!! 🎃
Thank you Rick for this very interesting and entertaining series of insights into these classic movies which you have researched well and then shared with your audience which I am sure is spread far and wide! Finishing the series with your visit to Bela Lugosi's final resting place was a great way to allow your viewers the opportunity to tag along with you, many of whom, like me here in Australia, may not otherwise be able to visit this site. Happy Halloween! 🎃👻🦇🎃👻🦇🎃👻🦇
Cool visiting bela lugosi grave what a horror icon and great legend bela lugosi one of the kings of horor and masters of horor may he rest in peace thanks for the remembrance of bela a icon a legend he was great 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
When Bella Lugosi died it was in his coffin during the viewing, Lon Chaney who played Frankenstein walked up to his casket lead over and whispered “You wouldn’t be shit me!” In reference to thinking he may be just joking about him being dead in the coffin.
That's sweet of you to visit your grandparents' graves on your way to visit Bela Lugosi's. The grotto is very pretty. It looks like they were trying to replicate Lourdes. Thanks for the interesting video
His first name is pronounced BAY-la. My Hungarian grandmother would want me to correct you on that. His last name is technically pronounced LOO-go-she in case you're curious. Thanks for taking us along.
His onscreen nemesis "Professor Van Helsing" aka Edward Van Sloan is buried in a small cemetery in S.E. Pennsylvania, of all places. Apparently his wife had relatives there; she's buried with in a plot with three of her relatives, and his grave is back-to-back with hers. Cool video!
Really interesting. Even the grotto looked like a bat-cave kind of thing you'd see in one of those old movies. I found Karloff's website and Lugosi's. Loved all the monsters, but those two were my top-shelf. I sent nice emails to each. Lugosi's family were the only one to respond. It was nice to have made that singular connection to one of the premier horror greats of all time. I've enjoyed your monster series and this one was a great cap to it all.
aloha rick much Mahalo for showing us bloopers and grave sites of celebrities there in Hollywood california, being i live far in honolulu, hawaii i went there to mission valley california for a relatives military boot camp graduation 2020, i love mission valley , cali, beautiful place!!!! only issue is how people drive there, radical fast. not good!!!
Very touching. I always feel strange in cemeteries layer out like this. I feel like I’m stepping on ppls corpses. It feels disrespectful,to me. Pardon my ignorance, but I’m assuming one has to be Catholic to be interned here?
Yes, I have family plots there myself including one for me. Everything there including all the markings decoration and the statues point to the Catholic faith. But all are welcome to visit anytime
How endearing and loving you were to your grandparents. You are a wonderful soul.
You have no idea all the love they gave to me…I was too young to understand. Their love was boundless
Beautiful resting place for Bela Lugosi. Nice to see people have left flowers at his grave and other mementos.
Thank you for taking us along for the trip. Thank you also for letting us in on your personal tribute to your family. That was sweet of you.
It means a lot to me. I’m a fairly private person so it was a joy to bring you all along. I’m happy you enjoyed it

Can understand the cape.I have one made in 1910 (yes 111 years old) that is 100% mint and is 100% wool and is so so warm...

😃
lugosi was buried in his Dracula outfit.
I wonder where his son is buried?
Just an interesting fact Sharon Tate is buried in that same area not to far from Bela Lugosi and Bing Crosby. As is Rita Hayworth
He is supposedly buried in the actual cape he wore in the film.
Yes, I mentioned that in the video 😀
Be funny if you heard at Drac Gave. See you tonight! Read that in Bellas Voice!😃
Did you mention the cemetery??
Yes, Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA
Yah sure, like he is still there.
What is the name of the cemetery ?
Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, Ca
