This track goes really well with the themes of Ready or Not. It gives you the sense that while your fight against evil is ultimately futile, it is still one that is absolutely worth fighting
SWAT 4 was about the slow decline, and trying to stop it for at least a little longer
Ready or Not isn't a story about the decline, it's a story about what it looks like at rock bottom. The city is on the brink, the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. You're stuck in the middle with only the bare minimum to perform your duties, expected to maintain a line that was shattered a long time ago, and one your superiors have no qualms with crossing themselves.
No matter what, there's still a job to do, and you're going in whether you're ready or not.
Stop the killing. Stop the dying.

How I view this OST is, with the first half the more somber tones and instruments I believe are supposed to represent Los Sueños as a whole. A city on the brink of complete and total anarchy: mass shootings, trafficking, terrorism both foreign and domestic. While the 2nd half is meant to represent the LSPD desperately trying to bring order and keep the city from plunging even more into chaos. Saving who can be saved and stopping those who bring harm to others.

Yo, can you upload the soundtrack for the hotel mission/Sins of the Father? I thought I also heard the Star Spangled Banner when playing the mission.
I don't think that mission features a soundtrack. I'll try it again, but all missions after Valley of the Dolls don't have soundtrack yet.

@@kingwolf3644 I did get a faint droning OST similar to The Spider. Spawn on the balcony and get into a firefight with the large amount of them beyond the door. I feel like it has potential but quickly goes away after the action is done.
