Yay!!! I fixed my heater!! I'm a 68 year old woman, but fortunately I was Daddy's last chance for a boy. He showed me all sorts of basic household repairs, and I have a tool box full of tools, nails, screws, etc. Your tip about making sure the pilot is fully blue made all the difference. The biggest problem once I got the front off (it was in 3 pieces for extra fun) was I kept dropping the screws and lost two. How handy to have lots lots of assorted screws handy :) Thank you so much for your help!!!!!😁😁❤
