Bought the VK 75.01 K in 2019 and I absolutely LOVE IT. Love playing with it, love the alpha damage and the armor works spectacularly for me. I understand some people's dislike for it, but it was well worth the amount I paid for it!
I thought it was supposed to be OP when it came out, with really strong LGP, & good UGP, was it nerfed?
But nowadays we have skoda t56 with 460 alpha twice and only 5 seconds reload difference

@@hellcat_8937 i love this tank also , i have skoda , defenders ,lowe , 35 premium and still enjoy VK , the best thing is i have the biggest avr dmg (1800) on this tank , among all my premium tanks
As stupid as it sounds, I prefer it to the Löwe. The gun treats you the with the same accuracy problems of the M48 Patton (often unable to hit the target, yet alone weakspots), but at medium ranges it can work.However, I found it pretty nice to play in with the same logic as lights and autoloaders. Conserve HP and in the end game you can often alpha your way through opponents. In platoons it can work pretty well as a roadblock when you have a sniper behind, like for example Minsk upper city.
Basically you say you need to work around how bad the tank it is and then it can be useful.
@@jigsawharlequin862 it’s not horrendous like ballbreaker but you can say that about most tanks. Maybe not soviets tanks lol but most tanks have a drawback and you need to adjust to play properly. I’m not going to play pantera same as this tank for example lol. A bit of common sense again lol
it is a heavy tank, if you have to conserve hp, this tank is bad.
@@cosmicdistortion4350 Every tank has SOME drawbacks. The difference between good, mediocre and bad tanks is the AMOUNT of them. And this VK has a lot. It trades most of its characteristics for a big alpha.

That's a great idea. I have played wot for 6 years and have only completed the td missions, and that was on accident.

A good player can do well, even in a mediocre tank. Even though the VK isn't competitive, I enjoy playing it.
Ofcourse but relaize good player with better tank like Skoda/Defender.

For me this tank is pretty amazing. When u hide your cupola, and sidescrap properly, then this tank shines. Plus if you hit someone, even tier IX, he feels that. But you need to know what you're doing and for new player or bad player this tank would we pain in the a$$.

I would love to have streamer rng for a day. You have so many shots bounce off your armor, when the enemy does to damage it's only like 100 damage. In the free to play world, my shots bounce, bounce, bounce. Enemy shots pen, pen, dead. This game sadly needs no skill, just rng.
in a way yes. but it needs skill. you can have some amount of services for free but then they decide what to give you
same here...I have filthy peasant RNG and fully aimed shots magically do "critical damage" or they cupola pen me from 300+ meters, lols!

Increase uper plate armor to 250mm,give it a 200mm lower plate armor,increase its cupola armor or decrease it size.Increase turret armor and remove Swiss cheese weakspots.Then it will be fine

I love this tank. I have found that this gun almost always high rolls. When I bought this tank, the first battle I played and the first shot I took was a max roll. So satisfying to see 500+ rolls.
Hope it still works that way for you in 30 days or so. I really do.

Play with stab, hardering and turbo (field mods or bounty) to make it fast super heavy, thats can be broken in some situations

Bad Tank Monday for you is a great tank Monday for most of us, Skill...
This tank was my first ever tier 8 Premium. Recieved as a gift...i will never buy this tank for myself... slow and not so much armored as it looks. Only alpha damage makes it to stay in my garage... and its lookin quite nice...
for me this has become tank collecting simulator.
I got this tank via mission for almost free, which made it a good deal. I have a 50% win rate in it, and it is a struggle. I don't seem to meet players like that KV-4 (first battle here), as just about everyone knows to hit the cupula or the lower plate. Plus, everyone knows your reload is really slow, so once you fire you often are rushed and get eliminated with shots to your side as the mobility is terrible. The gun is great for its alpha, but you MUST fully aim in or shell flies everywhere. Best play is to side-scrape on corners where you can hide your cupula - which is on the left side of your turret. Despite the negatives, I do play this tank for the challenge and the fun of putting 500 alpha in the red's face.
I must say that I absolutely love this tank I just got it recently and I like it very much but its because I like a slower paced game which I believe this tank does well and probably I am a little vias :3
I still remember when this tank came out and I rekt it with my IS-3
I don't think it is a bad tank, however I have out grown it. I got the E75 ts in the loot boxes and I prefer it over this, the dpm and the speed fit my play style more. That said, I still roll out and smack people once in a while in the VK without any issues. The main thing you have to get used to is, you can not snap shot in it, period... ever. Once you get that the gun only trolls you 1/3 of your shots.
This week on Terrible Tuesday: Mission failed successfully.
My issue with the VK. 75.01 stems from it’s turret and cupola. Your semi correct that it can side-scrape, but only on right side side of the tank. Left side, the armor on, again, the cupola and frontal turret can’t withstand much return firepower. It’s quite large in a sense. The aim time for this gun doesn’t help with this gun if I was to rock the tank back and forth in an attempt to bounce shots around a corner.
But it’s OK. The Chrysler GF is my personal money maker, so it was a breath of fresh air when I was seeing numbers way north of Chrysler’s average damage, lol.

U have 3 skills and half at least after u grind a tier 10,so buget should have 3 skills and half i think,no more less
the funny thing to me is that a lot of people say that this vk and ballbreaker are terrible tanks but i love them and those tanks allow me to perform very well in battle
They're both decent tanks but they require skill to get mileage out of them. They'll never stand up to a T56/3a/bourrasque/progetto pound for pound but when you have a deep HP pool, a gun with good pen and alpha, and a bit of armor it's not hard for a skilled player to walk out with 2.5k+ damage per game.

with books boosters etc i think 3 skill crew is really easy to obtain so 3 skills.

I like VK75. Its not the top dog in the field but its ok. I play with turbo gun rammer and vents. On top i use the non premium gasolina. Its working quite okay i would say

I played with this thing for a good bit, I actually managed to get somewhere around 2.5-2.7k average damage, which was not that bad and I found myself having 4k damage battles quite often, much more often than with Lowe, the best way for me to make the armor work was to go in with the front, force the enemy to shoot, they often just bounced of the over angled front or tracked me, so I repair and go around the corner, with 490 alpha, they rarely peeked again, because they were already down HP and they wouldn’t want to trade with it, that the beauty of 490 alpha guns, it’s their fear factor so to say.
Still like my Defender, even Bisonte more, just because those 2 bring uniqueness into the game(well Defender just has tier 10 armor at tier 8 so yeah, Bisonte can work, but can also be trash at times)

Looking for a bit of advice... most of my tanks are only 2 or 3 skill crew, would you turn off 'accelerated crew training' at this stage to get field modifications, or carry on improving the crew?
(I'm a casual average player that has not been playing much recently.)
stick with the crews until you feel like playing 1 entire day on the tank couldn't up it more than 3%, then maybe switch to field modif.
BUT:
*I think that field modif is kind of useless under tier VIII appart from exceptions
*Once you got 4 skills crew (repair+bia+camo trinity and the one perk very usefull on the crewmate, like 6th sence/situationnal awareness/snap shot etc) others are not as usefull, thuss field modif would be more profitable at this point
ALSO:
It's up to you budy, some tanks you would want more camo and the field modif doesnt give you that...some like ramming KV5 setup you would like the field modif bonus
Just check what it propose and what you want the most and you will know.
Because every tank is different, every player also is!
Turn off accelerated crew training when you get to 3rd skill on your crews.
Imo field mods are useless except the one where you pick a 2nd dedicated slot for your equipment

I love it actually great tank for t8 I'm getting close for 3rd mark fairly nice credit maker you only have to hit a few shots for a fairly decent income I use turbo with speed slot bond rammer and bond stabilization unit....second load out swaps turbo for bounty aiming device I've had accuracy at 0.3
I really enjoy all of your videos! After playing this game for many years, I am tired of the 5 to 15 simulator now. Now I just watch your videos and have a much better time than actually playing this "game". Cheers!

I love this tank on WoT Console(despite WpT console being a horrible game).
It's actually really good there, people still know where to hit and where to pen but it seems to do a lot better over all

But Skeeell, budget way for crew is 75% trained with no skills, no premium ammo and no food. Only manual fire extinguisher.
Thats how we start, but I end up on 2-3 skills on tanks I play a lot.

Ok, this tEnk is a kaku. But try this configuration : Vents, stabs, improved aiming. (or Rammer instead of vents) but for my part, I choose bond vents or bounty vents, I know, the dpm will decrease I know and I am well awered of that. Try it and see the difference.

Two skill crew, it's very hard to get the third reliably.
Skill is using regular repair kit and med kit. But when he activates them, he does not need to select which module to repair or which crew to heal. Why is that?
He just presses both buttons at the same time, i have 9k battles and also started to get used to which button is for which crewman/module and i do the same

this is what happen to me with my E75
The tank is when wg fails to create a new tank instead it just paints the tier 9 version and convinces you that it is tier 8
I think most players would have 3 skill crew but 2-3 is average right baboon king 👑
The Tank is great at top tier, Good at equal tier, and horrible a bottom. Unfortunately, NA MM always put me at equal or bottom tier 100% of the time. I never got a tier 6 match with the tank. So the tank isn't that enjoyable to play but if you want to cook your crews for the German rear turret heavy tanks, it's good for that.
I think 3 skill crew is standart for tier X tank
