Same!! It so well made! The story sucks you right in from the first moment. If it was a book, I certainly wouldn't be able to put it down until the last page was written.

WOW!! Great show guys! Thank you SO much. Just dove into this hair raising case pretty recently and your COLD series is very helpful!! Not finished yet, tho! Still so confused!!! This is just about as crazy and entangled as the Lori Vallow Chad Daybell case!!! Goodness gracious!! o_O
Thanks again for your great research, investigating and reports. I HOPE and pray that Susan's remains are found so she can have a proper burial.
I just came across this story just recently as well, I was so shocked by it that I couldn't stop watching it. I watched the entire podcast elisodes 1thru 18 straight through. Then looked for any other additional episodes I could find, specifically created by Dave Cawley. He has done a phenomenal job! This is how all podcasts series should be done! And the intro theme he has included is amazing, gives me chills everything I hear it! Dave Cawley is very talented, I can't wait to see what his next creation will be.

I think he chopped susan into pieces in the garage... after putting sleeping pills in her food and hitting her knocking her out in the living room while she was on the loveseat hence the spray. He had all that plastic wrap and tarps. He could have wrapped the pieces and placed them in a totes or totes inside the van. Thats how he transported her. The cuts and destroyed hands mean he was doing some heavy duty work. That torch could cut through steel. Then he moved her body somewhere when he took that 800 mile rental car trip. Then when he finally moved to WA and Michael helped him, he moved her AGAIN with Michael's help. Hence the decomposition in Michael's car he sold to the lot. He was terrified spending 1000s$ trying to see where that car went. And it was towed to Oregon so far away for no reason.
Michael killed himself knowing the police were onto him and it was only a matter of time.
In the book if I can't have you, Susans great grandparents went to go visit Charlie and Braden at Steve's house. There was an anatomical picture of a woman in a book that the grandma was reading to Charlie and Braden...and Braden said Mommy "has an owie" as he pointed to the woman. He was shocked and didn't say anything. I highly recommend the book for anybody that's very interested in this case. I haven't been able to put it down. Charlie saying his mom was dead. And that she went in the trunk with them. Josh is so sick that I can picture him telling the kids she was in the boxes or telling them she was "sleeping" like Chris Watts did with his kids. Its so hard to know because Josh was so sneaky. The awful things he was putting in those kids heads even while they were still together was terrifying. Also I cant imagine the effect of living with psychopathic Steve Powell pedophile extraordinaire, along with all the swearing badmouthing and parental/familial alienation that the boys were absorbing.
The website Josh and his family put up is disgusting. It wasnt enough to kill her and destroy her body and everything she loved. He had to assassinate her character in the public eye. No husband would ever do that if they had ever loved their wife.
Josh also told one of the people who helped him load his u haul from all the crap in his storage unit, that he had Susan's head in the truck, then laughed. He was one sick fuck.
Did they ever check to see what was really in all those food /grain buckets they had in the garage?
Some how the thing he killed her with was destroyed and the drywall pieces he burned her on was behind the seat were in the Van
Yep.. I also believe there was nothing left of Susan's remains for the police to find.. He was NOT in the least bit concerned of them finding her remains... Cause he had, MADE SURE Susan's remains would never be found!! It drives me crazy not knowing when, where and how Josh killed Susan.
So....amazing....Thanks for your time and effort you guys. I'm amazed at the depth you told this story. I think it really needed it frankly. Keep on rocking in the free world!

I think he smacked Susan as she was on the couch that's why there was swipe blood on the couch because those tiny blood spots on the tile would happen if you were slapped forcing you to turn your head to the side. Maybe that's how it began then he killed her after that.

Oh wow! So the eve he took only the boys out camping, he had made the pancakes for Susan...and her friend?? And then I heard somewhere else that after eating those pancakes, she had gotten real tired and went to take a nap. AND THEN Josh took her phone and the boys out to the boonies for about 12 HOURS.... hmmm. Did they have a landline??? OMG!!! He didn't want her to call anyone...or anyone to call her...and he could intercept any incoming calls of hers! WOW! So he probably had someone go to their house while HE was gone with the boys and she was PASSED OUT...or DEAD,,,and THAT is when the dirty work was done!!! Omigosh this story just keeps getting crazier and crazier the more I learn!!! How sad. Or he could have even rolled her up in a carpet and tied her to the top of the vehicle!!! The boys wouldn't even have thought anything of that!! WOW!!! I wonder.....
Yes they had a landline and it went to Josh's phone I believe. He listened to everything
Good idea yes he could have rolled her in the plastic tarps he had or that tree branch plastic he bought at the hardware store for the "dead tree" he was trying to save

@@Kimberly-rj2sc the most perfect plan always has some sort of mistake. I think he simply forgot about that beside his "perfect" plan.
But he was so clever in other regards such as the way he handled the SIM cards, I think his original plan got disrupted. He wouldn't forget about the purse.
