There is so much in this video. Your philosophy of life is so strong. It's the simple things in life that count the most: the reflections of mountains in a lake; a small creek and a tall waterfall in a canyon, running to get out of a shower, a sudden ray of sunlight, a Subway sandwich at the end of a hike. Even the sounds of trucks roaring by or the noises of a quarry can make the quiet places seem that much more serene. Every day I grow to love you two just that much more. All the best, guys.
Peter, I agree with your philosophy! The simple things in life are the most rewarding! Like you guys, I enjoy getting out in nature any time I can. It is where I find peace and connection. Thanks for sharing another beautiful video! Take care! Love and hugs!
Thank you, Peggy. Yes yes, simple joys are the best ones, I think 😊 We also find peace in nature, it is so calming. But not when there are bears close by 😁
I so enjoy watching you two on your adventures and the conversations you have with each other and with us it's so natural it makes me feel part of the adventure, thanks again and take care of each other
Thank you. That is so great to hear that we can make you feel like you are on our trips with us. To us it's just a little camera but we always imagine that you guys are there when we show or talk about something 😊
You two can make even the more mundane things interesting and exciting because of your joyful attitude and the ability to find the silver lining (or rainbows). Peter, your philosophy is spot on!! 😍😍
Tommy, I like the shirt you are wearing and I love the color of Peter's T-shirt. Peter, what you said at the end of this video is very true, My husband and I have everything we want and get bored quickly. We buy new cars at the drop of a hat and have traveled the world over. I guess we could get depressed but that is just not in our make-up, We are in the fall of our years so we have slowed up and enjoy a good cocktail and the comfort of our period colonial home. I really love you guys for your simple ways of living...........................

A most interesting video. Such a narrow canyon but majestic also with a nice waterfall. Canada has such a variety of places to visit. Especially interesting was all the man made rock sculptures. I have seen that once before when I visited Aruba several years back. The same stacked rocks but it actually was a pet cemetery. They were located on cliffs on the coast of Aruba. I think that got started when some people did this to mark the place were human ashes were deposited. Interesting that they reminded you all of a cemetery. Thanks for the additional video. Take care. Tony
Thank you as always, Tony. It is really great because every day there is something else to see and all of it is beautiful 😊 These ones luckily weren't graves.
Very beautiful! Nature knows how to surprise us without asking for something in return and, above all, it makes no promises. It's wonderful to see Peter always so joyful, the smile is contagious, cute as the squirrel. But now we also want to say a little something to Peter: hold on tightly to your husband Tommy you see that he is a calm, thoughtful man transmits security, and then we wish you a way of Love. Roberto and Daniela
Hi, guys. The canyons were awesome. Would love to go on that hike. The reflection of the mountains on the water were just beautiful and make some great pictures. Oh, by the way, you were right about porches. Depending on the size and where it is, if it is good size and off of the back of the house and made of wood it is a deck, if it on the front of the house it is usually called a porch. If it is small and off of the back of the house and concrete it is usually called a patio. Wonderful as always, see you Thursday ♥️
Where I'm from if it's covered it's a porch. It doesn't matter what side of the house. If it doesn't have a roof it's either a deck or a patio as you described them.
Thank you, John 😊 It's quite confusing in English because in every area people use different set of words 😁 But it seems like it would be called a deck, also what Fritz is saying. The main thing is that we understand each other 😁
@@tommyandpeter just wanted to help your question, Fritz is right also. We Americans have to many words for the same thing. Just to show you how crazy things can be, the states in the south have different words for the same thing but the north states say something different.😱 You guys are always on the right trail and have perfect English. It is so wonderful how much you enjoyed visiting our incredible country. On behalf of my fellow Canadians, I would to thank you for your beautiful photography and eloquent commentary. Hopefully, through your efforts, your viewers will get the urge to follow in your footsteps and visit our 38 National Parks, 10 National Park Reserves, and 1 National Urban Park (75 sq km Rouge National Urban Park, centred around the Rouge River on the eastern edge of the City of Toronto). In total Canada's National Parks cover 342,456 sq km. At the Provincial level, each of the ten provinces and 3 territories has Provincial and Territorial Parks. There 92 Provincial Parks and 11 Territory Parks. The largest Provincial Park is the 2,355,200-hectare Polar Bear Provincial Park in Northern Ontario. In addition to all of the National, Provincial, and Territorial Parks there is the 24,134 km Trans Canada Trail - known as The Great Trail stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean to the Arctic Ocean; it is now the longest recreational, multi-use trail network in the world.
@@tommyandpeter Thanks for your much-appreciated response. If you ever decide to visit parks in Ontario and use Toronto as your gateway, my husband and I (married 56 years) would be honoured to show you around Toronto.

I kept wondering how dangerous it was being in that canyon when it was raining. I wondered if you were in danger of a flash flood. Glad you returned safely.
The showers and weak thunderstorms were moving so the amount of precipitation was quite low in general over the area. So not really flash floods conditions, luckily. Also the parts where the canyon was narrow were short and on wider parts it would be possible to just go uphill into the forest. I have watched quite a lot of videos of flash floods in slot canyons in southern parts of the US and it can be pretty terrifying!
Robert, that's what I thought. Can be a very dangerous area. You won't know the danger until it's too late but Peter being a weatherman knows a lot about it. Have watched several videos of people trapped in a flash flood area and unknowingly risking their lives and sometimes losing their lives.

Haha...!! This was fun...!!! Sorry to hear Calgary was so hard on Peter's lips. 07:32 - Just out of curiosity, what are your humidity levels back home during summer & winter that keeps Peter's lips looking so delicious? 💋❤
For example today it was 90% in the morning and 50% at noon - outside. In summer it sometimes goes even to 20% but just rarely. In the condo we are usually around 60%. At the country house 70% - but that is too much, we would love to go lower but the house is so old and the humidity is in the walls... In Tommy's brother's house humidity was only around 20% because of the AC, also in winter the heating is just like warm air flowing from somewhere, that also makes the air dry.
